POCKET POWER-800m was 9th some 9 lengths off,400m was 10th some 5.9 lengths off and 400m to finish was 22.29 secs.
DANCERS DAUGHTER-800m was 17th some 15.4 lengths off ,400m was 13th some 7.6 lengths off and 400m to finish was 21.98 secs.
BOUND BY HONOUR-800m was 4th some 3.8 lenghts off,400m was 5th some 2.8 lengths off and 400 to finish 23.03 secs.
RIVER JETEZ- 800m was 7th some 6.9 lengths off, 400m was 4th some 2,5 lengths off and 400 to finish was 23.10 secs
DESERT LINKS- 800m was 15th some 14.40 lengths off,400m was 14th some 8.20 lengths off and 400 to finish was 22.16 secs.
SILVER MIST-800m was 10th some 11 lengths off, 400m was 12th some 7.30 lengths off and 400m to finish was 22.55 sec.

Interesting 400m to finish stats.....

no sectional timing. i have an image of some poor oke with a video recorder, a pencil and a stopwatch ferreted away in a small room with no aircon.

Yip,thats how he runs though....chase him and no fuel in the tank at the end....maybe get the 400m to finish the same way as the July gallops by dropping a flag?

1400m difference - apples/oranges!!

I'd say, if he stays all day - and still deliver a 600m finishing Kick then The Gold Cup.

In addition, the 1800m is probably a 'deeper field' = Gold Cup - ouzo, Jim.
