In order of preference :-
R7) Dutch Phillip, has done well over the minimum distance and is well in against most of this field.
R4) Magic Mary, on exposed form should not finish ahead of Hammie's Fan based on their past meetings, however, MM has been finishing closer each time they've met and looks the one more open to improvement considering the number of their respective starts.
Fancy the double.
R6, I think Chestnut's Charm is a runner here. Her merit rating has dropped 8 points in three months, and she will have the benefit of the apprentice allowance of 3.5kgs. Back in distance tomorrow, but young Ferraris should adopt front running tactics to pull this off.
Will take an each way treble with the above two.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

You mean R5, two year old, not for me. I make Grand Silvano the one to beat

Lots of rain, and track is soft.
Race 1: Shadowing stands out among the raced horses, but some nicely bred first timers.
Race 2: Winter Five showed good improvement last time with blinkers and is the one to beat. Without Limits good form and should challenge. Again some nice first timers to complicate matters.
Race 3: Clouded Hill is the one to beat after good debut. Dragon Power should improve on fair debut to challenge. Rikers Island can pick up another cheque. Positive comments about Marachino on USO.
Race 4: Hammie Fan and Magic Mary should fight it out, and Elusive Diva not far behind last time.
Race 5: Mind Blowing is the one to beat. Potawatomi good run last time from wide draw and could turn the tables on Grand Silvano.
Race 6: Very open race - Glen Kotzen has a strong hand
Race 7: Dutch Phillip is weighted to win this and is a possible banker. Olympian and Al Wahed will set the pace and could possibly hold on to upset.
Race 8: A minefield. EndofMarch good draw and 4 kg claim is as good as anything else.
