The "changes" sweeping through racing

The more things change the more they stay the same it seems. This industry is as corrupt as any ANC Gupta loving member. Hands up all of you that have heard that an enquiry into Larry Wainstein and his role in the sectional timing debacle is taking place. The word is that a prominent lawyer and member of the Kenilworth racing board has taken the bit between his teeth, so to say, and has gotten prominent personalities like Chris van Niekerk behind him to "investigate" the little matter of Tellytrack paying GVSC, a company Larry Wainstein is massively invested in, for the costs of sectional timing.

All good and well you would think, and about time some accountability took place. Unfortunately the process is now months old and it seems to have come to a grinding halt. Some would say swept under the carpet as so many other similar transgressions seem to disappear to. Despite the big man in Cape Town bleating about PWC doing a forensic audit, and things will now finally come out of the wash, months down the line nothing has happened. Another racing capture non-starter.

I wonder what the pay off was?

as ive said on sporting post the set up of mp and the ra offers the same potential for funny business as the steinhoff mayfair structure. not surprising as they were set up by the same bloke.
wit the demise of jooste the structure needs to be changed both steinhoff and racing otherwise the vacuum will just be filled by someone else and sos different day
