I like Sim-Alley Bank and a bonus length or two if Striker gets the ride

Some really weak fields early on and not much value to be found.

In race two Now and Forever could be the place value now stepping up in trip.

R3 Dashuri and Oh Mercy me ones worth including. I may be wrong in assuming Pretty Border may be better around a bend hence leaning towards the former two who could still show improvement. If either do, they could be the right one.

R4 Another race with not a whole lot of value imo. Some weak form lines and therefore hard to oppose the fav. Value for Quartet's could be the Sham first timer and Turf Master. Lazarus could challenge but the lack of money makes me think that he could just need it after gelding.

R5 Tricky race where finally some value could be found. My first selection will be refuge. May be better over 1400 but two wins from three over c/d may suggest otherwise. Drops nicely in the rating and I think is poised to run a good race. The tin man could also represent some e/w value if fit having changed yards due to the sad passing of Leon. The former two should ensure a good pace on the outside which Wottahottie could appreciate dropping from what I feel is his correct trip of 1400. Money has come for Goa who impressed lto but against the boys I'd prefer to stick my neck out and go with Refuge.

R6 Mount Keith to go in again.

R7 Baahir imo a worthy favorite. Money coming for play the night and if not suffering second run after a rest syndrome could challenge B strongly. Best of the rest for me is Donny G.

R8 Il mondo my selection. There was some value about this one earlier in the week around 14's but that hasnt lasted. A victim for winning her Maiden early on and entered the handicaps possibly a little higher then she should. Taking that into account she hasnt disgraced herself and has dropped nicely in the ratings. The small yard has had a decent couple weeks and my money is on the yard keeping up the trend. 6 or 7/1 still very good value.

R9 Last race of the day can be taken numerous ways. Either banker the favorite who in my opinion is coming off a bit of a suspect form line or one needs to go wide. The St John Gray runners probably warrant inclusion with Supermax, Heart of Africa to a lesser extent and for quartet's Gaelebale.

My play:
Refuge e/w
Il Mondo e/w

Best Bet Mount keith.

Play well.

Hope Pidgeon Rock hasn't run his race already.Misbehaving terribly and now on the loose.Could be for the best that it probably will be scratched.
