R1 SHILOH 50/1 E/W as ran many poor runs after running over 1000m at this course after not getting a clear run, 1200m hopefully will suit. not sure about the jockey

Really, can nobody count at the start?
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Well it's been a while since I last put some thoughts together on a meeting - let's hope my form can show a bit of a turn-around after a very disappointing July day
R2: Any of the 5 can crack it, depending on fitness and pace - not sure that Artica will see out a true-run 2000, but with the small field, every chance that the race will br run to suit him; main danger imo Top Shot; Heavenly Blue very classy, but may just need the run in preparation for the Champions Cup
R3: The Irishman was apparently an entry into the Juvenile Feature on July Day, so has to be respected, but I think he will have be quite smart to beat Alyaasaat, who made a very good debut in a strongish maiden
R4: Smart Deal strongly fancied and does look to have this field at his mercy over this track and trip; he does seem a bit one-paced though, so a clever ride from one of the others may fond him out - hard to say which one though - to me I think both Village Deep and Elathan has the most scope.
R5: A four-horse war where any can win depending on pace and tactics; my slight preference is for Seeking Gold who has run well at this course and should prefer the extra 400m
R6: I agree with many that No More Words is the right one - faced a lot stronger and rating has dropped after over-racing last time with the blinkers; main dangers imo include Spring Breeze (rating has come down as well and trying blinkers again) and Lunar Dancer, but most of the others hold some sort of chance should NMW fail
R7: Sporting Monarch over-due to win and is my choice to beat African Ruler; roughie to consider imo is Hampton Court show is suffering from respiratory problems but has the earlier form to beat these at the weights if all is well with him
R8: Tough handicap - best value imo is Dragoon who looks well handicapped and has the services of the jock to be crowned champion in a few weeks - looks to be lost of pace in the race, which will also suit; Tour of Duty (no blinkers today) another who will relish a fast pace and could also put a poor last run (when not striding out) behind him; others to consider are Tripod, Rebel Renegade and Singaswewin (although losing the 4kg claim counts against him)
R9: Full Mast quite capable and should go close here; obvious danger is Punta Cana, with the fillies Aurelia Cotta, Winter's Forge and Visuality fighting out 3rd.
Enjoy
