"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon Session' Monday 14 July Workings.

Afternoon.
This afternoon completed and went as follows:
The 1st runner we wanted 1.6 and with being around 1.78 on arrival and although dropping down under good support; the price only went as low as 1.61 and not a penny was matched at our lay price and so a race to avoid for all. The runner ran a poor race and was beaten, so very frustrating that we didn't get our lay price, but that's the fine lines we play and so 'one that got away in hindsight'.......
The 2nd runner we wanted 3.0 and with drifting to around 3.4 on arrival and only getting bigger and bigger, race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so the market told lies, glad of the drift now and a good leave.......
The 3rd runner we wanted 3.2 and with being around 3.5 on arrival and dropping down to us right at the off, we had a lay at 3.2. The lay was beaten and so the late money wrong and a good result.......
The 4th runner we wanted 3.2, but a non runner and 12% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.94. The price was around 2.68 on arrival and so we had a lay at 2.68. The lay was nicely beaten and so a good result.....
The 5th runner we wanted 3.2 and with being around 3.5 on arrival, around 30 minutes to the race and all strategy play completed with only a bit of trading left, I'm leaving it there and will concentrate on this evening's racing. Good luck traders with the remainder.
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Won 1 target........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 3rd runner and hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 4th runner)..........That left them with an insufficient amount left to start another strategy/target and so they end winning 1 target..
'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 3.2 and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets.....They then had their 2nd lay (the 4th runner) at 2.68 and a good result see them hit their targets...
Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100
1st lay £100 to win as much of the £100 target @ 3.2. Result positive. Win £45
Total bank now £445

'Traders' have either won, or broke level on all their trades thus far, so well played and good luck with the remainder guys...
So builders made light work of the session, despite coming oh so close to laying the 1st runner, but they'll be happy, so good work guys. Rollers also hit 1 target , so good stuff. Speak soon...
Marc.
