Fancy the double :-

R6) Pippielangkos - taking on some pretty average older horses

(R7) Clouded Hill - despite having to concede 2.0kgs to Pleasedtomeetyou, CH looks special.

Just for good measure, the treble with Vivir at Turffontein.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Bayern R7 gonna be a humdinger Fourie / Fadyherbe.....boat race me thinks.

Can Clouded Hill give 2 kgs to Pleasedtomeet you ? I think NOT ! Time will tell, only need these 2 for P6. Here.

Pleasetomeetyou is a recent maiden winner, and I'm sure Snaith and Fourie will have a fair idea on how good he is through Trip To The Sky, whom Fourie rode and finish a distant third. The upside of that is Trip To The Sky came out and won his next start. I'll stick with Clouded Hill, he beat winners last time out.

The pen is recorded as 23, going good, but should still be somewhat yielding. Slight headwind.
Race 1: The older fillies will be hard to beat this trip at this time of year.Eternal Night is my pick from Cohiba Allday. Not much between the 3 year olds which should fight out the minor money.
Race 2: A tricky fillies handicap. Strawberry Wine gets the vote after a good debut and with natural improvement is the one to beat. Strawberry Fire has good form but a horrible draw, so I prefer Indian Song amongst the older fillies.
Race 3: Herodotus was fancied on debut and with the benefit of that run must be hard to beat here. Caesura is the main danger.
Race 4: An open race. After Glow is still on the upgrade and is the one to beat, but quite a few with chances.
Race 5: Grand Silvano has been racking up the wins and is still only running off a 73 rating. I make him the one to beat in another open race. Red Mars is consistent. Flash Twice likes this course and is well in from a nice draw if his last effort in the wet is ignored.
Race 6: Pippielangkous won very well last time, and although she did not beat much, should win again. Captains Treasure is much better than her last run, as is Bouvier.
Race 7: Pleasedtomeetyou was impressive on debut, and could be anything. Will be very competitive here getting 2kg from the two time winners. CloudedHill has very good form. Elusive Trader should enjoy the extra and comes off two good wins.
We have Lanza running- he is fit and well and has won two nice races. He is quite well exposed but we expect him to be involved in the finish.
Race 8: Tricky handicap to end the day. Photocopy could follow up here.Royal Marine won well last time and loves this course. Hidden Influence has been given a stiff rating for his maiden win, but is progressive. Night in Winter also a course specialist but a wide draw.
