Sunny with a fresh headwind. pen 21. Course should run fast.
Race 1. Quite a few with good first runs and the key will be draws and the degree of improvement. In order of preference: Herodotus, Fateful, Engage and Beware, Vikram,Superstitious, Tennessee, Seventy Eight, Famous Orator.
Race 2: Similar. Minona, Quiera, River Delta, Hearsay, Lunar Tunes.
Watch first timer Heaven's Embrace.
Race 3. Very weak field. Let me Love You decent debut and should be better than Metropolitan although the latter has racing fitness on his side. Bold Assassin the best of the rest.
Race 4: Competitive Handicap. Ostinato my pick as she is racing fit whereas Casual Diamond and Honey Suite may both need this. Shamrock Wind disappointing last time but is better than that and must be respected.
Race 5: Johnny Black improved run last time and can win again if repeating. Royal Marine likes this course and could challenge. Tarsus had good form last summer and seems to prefer the firmer going.
Race 6: Charles looks a promising 3yo and could win this if not needing the run. Not much between Zeb, Hemmingway and Jailhouse Rock. Dorset Noble was very promising before his injury, but likely to need this and further.
Race 7: Strawberry Wine and Front and Centre are improving 3yos and I have a preference for SW at the weights. Go The Distance won well last time and must be respected if not needing the run. The younger fillies are preferred, but Perfectproportions and Foxy Princess are useful and will test them.
Race 8. Majestic Mozart gets 2 kg from Bunker Hunt and this may be enough- again an interesting test of these two smart 3yos against hard knocking Flash Twice, Saltoro Ridge and Grand Silvano.

-Metropolitan is as short as 83/100 but you can genuinely leave him out of everything
