SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 6 and 13 - BEAUTIFUL BEAT & ROCK STARDOM : Beautiful Beat debuts for the yard and races off good Cape form. If she runs to that form, she should be right there. Rock Stardom has actually never been on turf, all gallops, passes through the gates etc have been on Poly, so she has her very first outing on grass, so we are hoping she takes to it as she ran a very good race first time out. She will be advantaged by the claim four.

TARA LAING - Number 10 - BLUE NEGLIGEE : She has her first start, is working well and could find the frame.

ALAN GREEFF - Number 11 - BUSHIRI : She was very green on debut and has a chance here.

SHARON KOTZEN - Number 3 - MINDMYMOOOOD : He debuts for the yard and we are hoping for a decent effort.

GAVIN SMITH - Number 7 - MASTER NEWTON : He is a nice type and is working well.

TARA LAING - Number 1 - RED GRANITE : Her last run was disappointing but she much better than that. She is back to grass and has a chance.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 2, 4 and 5 - CLOUD ATLAS, SMART SUZY & JOKING : Cloud Atlas enjoys track and trip and has a quartet chance. Smart Suzy enjoys the 1400m and can run into the first four. We’ve been waiting for 1400m on grass for Joking and she can place.

ALAN GREEFF - Number 2 - DOUBLE BLACK : Good first run for the yard last time out and she has come on.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1, 5 and 8 - CHAPPAQUIDDICK, SESS & SUPREME WINTER : Chappaquiddick will enjoy the extra. Sess is back from a break and may still need. Supreme Winter tries further.

SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 3 and 7 - MULTI GOLD & THE GOWN : Both horses try the 2800m distance, but they are genuine stayers so we don’t see it being a problem. They are bred to stay all day and can run well.

TARA LAING - Numbers 1 and 4 - EXELERO & CAPTAIN ALFREDO : Exelero is in top form and has a chance again. Captain Alfredo is a capable sort and he can never be left out.

ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 3, 6, 7 and 9 - UNION JACK, SEATTLE FLAME, KIFTSGATE & ALFEO : This is sharp for Union Jack but he is a capable sort. Seattle Flame and Kiftsgate enjoy track and trip and can earn. Alfeo has held his own in his starts as a three year old against older, stronger top division sprinters so far and can be there again.







RACE 7 :

SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 6 and 9 - HANDRE THE HERO & JUST CHAOS : Handre the Hero is finally learning to race and a good run is expected. Just Chaos takes on the boys, but she is a classy filly and should give another good account of herself.

ALAN GREEFF - Number 8 - MADAME SPEAKER : She’s done nothing wrong, always runs a good race and has taken on the boys before.

DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 4 - TRIPOD : He is new to the yard and is a nice horse - he is expected to run well.

GAVIN SMITH - Number 6 and 8 - SUPER SOCKS & KILLALA : Super Socks was a good winner in his last and he can follow up. Killala enjoys track and trip , but has to take on the boys.

Race 1: Beautiful Beat the one for me , cant have the top 2 in the betting
Race 4: Double Black , named after my favourite whisky thats good enough for me
Race 6: Copper Trail to cause the upset , this horse is top class on its day
Race 7: March Music will give the top 2 something to think about today
