Your friend needs to get out more often. He/she clearly never travelled to see Frankel; who I suspect would have dealt with Winx fairly decisively.
As good as Winx undoubtedly is a lot of her success is down to very astute placing.

Cant really compare the two horse winx on a good to fast track i think would beat frankel .. but on the soft i think frankel would win hence why they would never of raced each other

Frankel never liked the soft. Check the last run of his in the Champion Stakes. They were very sporting to run him on soft ground. That French horse got close that day and he was no.slouch.

.....then again some also believe that Frankel's impeccable record was also down to race tactics and also very astute placing too.....he was a an out and out classic miler yet his wins in his last 2 Gr1 heats over 10 furlongs were the smartest orchestration of tactical racing against other less distance suited sorts....

Need Garrick be so confrontational ?
29 straight wins,23 of which were Grade 1's. Living the sheer joy of witnessing the day?
Well, whatever rings his bell.

Gee........and I thought that politely expressing a differing viewpoint was the whole point of the ABC forum.
