Trainer Comments and Nadines selections

RACE 1 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :

3 / 1 / 7 / 8

JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 1 and 7 - WHO KNOWS & HURRICANE SASHA : Who Knows has his first run for the yard. He races off fair KZN form, but could just need this. We are expecting a good run from Hurricane Sasha who has the blinkers back on.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 4, 5 and 6 - SPORT CHIC, ARIKARA & HALLO ROSIE : Sport Chic is expected to be right there. Hoping for improvement from Arikara. Hallo Rosie has a place chance.

RACE 2 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :

4 / 2 / 1 / 5

TARA LAING - Numbers 1, 2 and 3 - PLANO, IT IS WRITTEN & FREE AGENT : Free Agent has an earning chance in a small field. It is Written won his last well and has a decent shout again here. Plano runs well on Poly and is also in with a chance at a cheque.

GRANT PADDOCK - Number 4 - BORDER CONTROL : He is trying the trip here and has a chance in a small field.

RACE 3 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :

1 / 7 / 5 / 3

ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1, 7 and 8 - LIMESTONE MASS & WHAT ELSE : Limestone Mass ran a great race on debut last time out and should be right there again. What Else can place again.

GRANT PADDOCK - Number 5 - INN FASHION : He is a professional maiden, quartet chance.

RACE 4 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :

3 / 5 / 6 / 1

TARA LAING - Numbers 2 and 3 - SHALLCROSS & FUJIN : Shallcross would be better on turf. Fujin must be a big runner in a small field running off consistent form.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 4, 5 and 8 - CONQUERING KING, STATE CAPTURE & IN HER VISION : Conquering King has a place chance. State Capture always line up with a chance at a cheque. In her Vision should still need this.

RACE 5 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :

4 / 1 / 3 / 5

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1, 3 and 4 - ROSSLYN CHAPEL, GOLDEN SHAMROCK & WILD BRIER : Rosslyn Chapel has consistent form and should be thereabouts. Golden Shamrock is working well and can place. Wild Brier was very unlucky in his last and should be a huge runner.

GRANT PADDOCK - Numbers 5 and 8 - AMERICAN CAPTAIN & STRONG ‘N BRAVE : American Captain pulled up well after his run on Friday where he didn’t see out the trip. Back to 1900m he has a place chance. Strong ‘n Brave ran a very nice race on Friday but the second run after the rest is a concern.

RACE 6 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :

3 / 7 / 4 / 2

GAVIN SMITH - Number 2 - SUPER SOCKS : He is expected in the money.

ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 3, 6 and 7 - VIA SACRA, ADALFIERI & LIGHT ON HER TOES : Via Sacra has a winning chance. Adalfieri and Light on her Toes can place.

RACE 7 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :

3 / 8 / 6 / 9

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 3 and 9 - THE HIGHWAY MAN & BAYETO : The Highway Man ran a good race in his last against tougher and is expected right there. Bayeto has a quartet chance.

ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 5, 7 and 8 - ALBRANDINO, ADALBERTO & AFRICAN MESSIAH : Albrandino can earn. Adalberto has his post maiden run and is up in class. African Messiah put up a great run on local debut and can follow up.

RACE 8 :

1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :

4 / 1 / 7 / 6

TARA LAING - Numbers 1 and 10 - DON’T STOP DANCING & SYMPHONY IN SEVEN : Don’t stop Dancing runs well on the Poly over this distance and has a fair chance. Symphony in Seven has dropped in the weights and has a quartet chance.

ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 3, 4 and 6 - QUINELIA, KEEP THE FAITH & LANDELA : Quinelia might still need this. Keep the Faith has a winning chance. Landela has her post maiden run, she is working well.

Interesting that Bella Larney the Jay peg is price up at 6,s with a moderate bunch imo.

Lylle mount been scratched with better form so maybe a line through the rest of the field.

What the hell was Greg Cheyne doing on Wish To Land.
He stopped riding for a while and cost himself third place for sure.
Did he manage to find crap in a six horse field?
