That's a bummer - hope you did not back it Ante-Post; but I have to add that I never fancied that (as I never fancied Liege last year  ) - too many negatives imo .... Durban raider, better over staying trip ....
This is a REALLY open handicap - imo only Tandava and Kilrain (and now It's My Turn) can't win it - for the others, every horse has something in its form to show that they are not totally without a prayer - even a horse like Dawn Assault at 50/1 must rate a place chance at best based on his form ....

No Frodo, fortunately did not back it Antepost as I was not sure if they would run him so waited for the final field.
As you say the race is so open I will not be having a bet on it now as anything can win it. In a open contest I feel for punters who now have to take a 10 or 15% deduction.
My only bet is a place double on Sabina's Dynasty where I did a place double on her on the Victory Moon onto the Summer Cup. No deduction fortunately.

On breeding should have no problems staying the extra furlong. Not sure that Bold Eagle can give this horse 7.5kgs and a beating, taking into account that BE's MR was achieved over the sprint distances, hasn't really shown anything beyond 1200m. Likewise Firdoas, can't see her conceding 5.0kgs to my fancy and a beating. Against The Grain, recent maiden winner, has competed against strong before breaking the maiden and could be the joker here.
Gimme A Wave, see there has been some early support for it, and that's the one I'll row in with.
Not that you need more confidence Bayern but I agree 100%. 14/1 opening price was very generous.
I agree , how they could open the horse at 14's does not make any sense - much more realistic now at 5's
I think I may have found another one where it seems the books are sleeping .... Image Award in the 5th; a look at collateral form shows that she is really well in here (does seem held by Pretty Penny, but in that run suffered from a breathing noise); Tarry and Khumalo, drawn on the right side imo; 16/1 looks very generous to say the least

Have a look at Come The Day in race 12, I think this is a lively runner.
My double on the day :-
R4) Gimme A Wave X (R 12) Come The Day [ about 55/1]

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I like Dawn Assault at a big price for the Summer Cup along with Noble Secret, Takingthepeace and Cash Time. Interesting race, I hope the weather holds up on the day....

Pick 6 should be worth winning some very competitive races especially the big one.
Good punting

Quick look at card makes me think some good odds on some.
In merchants there is a whole bunch that on their weights, could look obvious in hindsight. Horses Like Champagne Haze, Riverine, Capt and Master and even Africa Rising have all shown glimpses that could see them easy winners if they put up top performance
Now that Its my Turn is scratched I am probably going to have a few quid on Deo Juvente..overall form at that weight instantly catches my eye .Although consistency is a problem, on big days ignoring ability and very reasonable handicapping is worse.
Lots of good fillies to beat though
