Race 1

Candice Bass-Robinson
No 2 Nao Faz Mal : First run back from gelding, having a sprint back
in a strong race so not expecting him to win over the shorter trip.
Andre Nel
No 4 Anse Lazio ; Needs ground
Paul Reeves
No 6 Give Me Dynamite is expected to come on from his debut and will
appreciate the 1200m.
No 14 Toran The Tiger is a nice horse but will probably need further.
Mike Robinson
No 8 King Carlos may need further.
Dean Kannemeyer
No 9 King Of Britain : Back after a wind operation, will need the run.
No 12 Salt shows potential but run will bring him on.
No 13 Slew City will be looking for more ground but race will do him good.
Paddy Kruyer
No 10 Kingsman might need the experience
Glen Kotzen
No 11 Saint West will need the run.

Race 2

Candice Bass-Robinson
No 2 Ontenderhooks : Top weight but is well drawn. Good chance again.
Mike Robinson
No 6 Hemero is one of my big runners on the day. She only got a few
points for her last win and I think she will run a big race

Race 3

Paul Reeves
No 1 One Life Live It is a bit inconsistent. He is drawn out wide so I
am trying a few equipment changes.
Mike Robinson
No 2 Elusive Victor : Is very well. He is drawn out wide but with a
bit of luck he can go close.
Vaughan Marshall
No 3 Rochester ; His recent form is good and should have a big chance.
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 12 Oak Bay will need the experience of a few runs and will only be
competitive over much further.

Race 4

Mike Robinson
No 2 Fashion Force is working very well. She may have needed her last
run and will go closer this time.
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 8 She's Got The Look needs to improve. Last run in the Cape.
No 10 When And How ; Doing quite well at home but we would need
another run as she was very green last time.

Race 5

Vaughan Marshall
No 2 Captain's Charm can have a definite place chance if showing her best form.
No 9 Sherwood Forest is up in class. Her work has been good but is
drawn 9-9 so will need some luck.
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 3 Meraki won convincingly with the blinkers last time over the
course and distance. There are some good up and coming three-year-olds
in a small competitive field. Expecting another good run from him.
Paul Reeves
No 8 Moon Rock has some weight off his back this time so I am
expecting a better run.

Race 6

Candice Bass-Robinson
No 1 Intothelimelight carries a big weight in a sprint and this run
is a prep run for the Victress Stakes in 3 weeks time.
No 7 Western Angel returned with a stack leg virus last time. Doing
well at home and back in ordinary company she could be competitive if
not too high in the merit-rating.
Peter Wrensch
No 4 Over Again is very well. She is speedy and will enjoy going back
over a straight track.
Tobie Spies
No 5 Miss Khalifa ; Expecting a good run.
Glen Kotzen
No 10 Twin Falls is doing well.

Race 7

Mike Robinson
No 2 Blue Roller drops back in distance. if he jumps on terms he could place.
Vaughan Marshall
No 4 Jephtham was very unlucky last time out and I am hoping he can win this.
Paul Reeves
No 5 Skidoo can run a big race with the apprentice allowance He is speedy.
Glen Puller
No 6 Love To Fly ; Hoping for a competitive run.
Piet Botha
No 7 Quarllo is very well and I am expecting another good honest run from him.

Race 8

Candice Bass-Robinson
No 1 Indian Song ; Very competitive race to finish the day. We have a
claiming rider on her to ease the weight off her and she must be
included
No 8 Tattooed Rocker is doing very well at home and came on with her
last run. Slightly better trip for her although she will be ultimately
looking for further. If it is not too sharp for her she should be in
the finish.
Mike Robinson
No 2 Secret Depths will enjoy the extra and is another runner I am
expecting a big run from.
Vaughan Marshall
No 9 Grandiflora is in good form and has a decent chance.

We had a little bit of rain recently so the sting may be out the ground but will still be good going.
Race 1: Quite a few with chances. Via Salaria should improve on local debut and is the one to beat. Neo Faz Mal good form. Duc D'Orange was fancied on debut and big improvement likely. In Full Power and Salt on the upgrade.
Race 2; Hemero won last time when a penalty kick at the weights. Only been raised 3 points and is still very well weighted and should skate in again.
Race 3: Elusive Victor pulls a very wide draw otherwise I would be very confident. With luck he can still do it today. Rochester has a good draw and is easy to back at 7/1. One Life Live it can place but has had many chances and the younger horses preferred. Destin and Duke's Domain look the best of the rest.
Race 4: Au Revoir has the form to win this. Elusive Green is improving each run and we are hoping that she can run into the money despite the draw. Fashion Force is better than recent form, while Ruby Two Shoes is improving. River Inn must also go into quartets.
Race 5: An open race. Vardy should come on from good debut and could be anything. Rip it Up good form but a high rating. Chatuchak and Meraki can never be ignored. Bestdayofmylife still improving.
Race 6:Another open race if Golden Chance does not win. Twin Falls disappointed last time but her penultimate was a good run. She is too high in the ratings, so the apprentice allowance will help. May need the run a bit but should not be too far off them. Over Again is better than recent, and Miss Khalifa looks useful. The Snaith coupling can never be ignored.
Race 7: Nothing stands out here, but the 3yos Jephthah, Skidoo and Apollo Ace should fight it out.
Race 8. Secret Depths was way out of her ground from wide draws her last two, and has an excellent turn of foot. With a nice draw and a top jockey I expect her to win. Duchess of Bourbon may be the closest challenger. Jetorio won well on debut and could be anything.Sans Regrets ran below best last time but had good form before that. Indian Song has ability on her day. Grandiflora has won two in a row and will again make them gallop from pole draw.

Neo Faz Mal drops in trip and has not shown early speed

Via Salaria last run form might not be all that strong

Respect for Du Orleans but the draw will be a factor

In Full Power good last run , drawn at 4 and has the services of Fourie,Best place bet R1

Duke's Domain good place bet R3
Quarllo place R7
Secret Depth place R8
