Wolf Power was a legend ( not that the others aren’t ) . Francois Wolfhaart’s commentaries even more legendary . Anyone able to access the archives - well worth the watch

All horses mentioned above are top class in their own right. Lately with our top horses being exported, LE perhaps hasn't met the best we have had(that's not to say that he wouldn't have beaten them) .Personally PP was my favourite .

Just a correction for Craig Eudey.

Gatecrasher beat Politician in the latter's second attempt at the Met.

I was there and backed Gatecrasher - unbeaten on a left hand course!!!
