Trainer Comments and Nadines first 4
RACE 1 :
1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
10 / 9 / 4 / 6
GEORGE UREN - Number 6 - THE DONEGAL MAN : He is well and has a
place chance in a small field.
ALAN GREEFF - Number 10 - SEATTLE CHOICE : Ran well on debut and has a chance.
RACE 2 :
1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
14 / 17 / 15 / 3
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 8 and 15 - QUEEN MARTINA & PERCEPTIONIST :
Expecting improvement from Queen Martina. Perceptionist ran a decent
first race and can find the back end of the quartets.
TARA LAING - Numbers 12 and 17 - COUNTLESS AWARDS & THOKZINE : Both
have their first run. Countless Awards will need the run and the
experience. Thokzine can place.
RACE 3 :
1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
6 / 7 / 3 / 2
SHARON KOTZEN - Number 3 - MINDMYMOOOOD : He ran a nice last race
and should give another good account of himself.
ALAN GREEFF - Number 6 - LLOYD GEORGE : Ran well on debut and has a chance.
RACE 4 :
1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
9 / 7 / 1 / 8
ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 5 and 8 - LOVE DOVE & MAPLE SYRUP : Both
fillies can get involved.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 6 and 7 - CLOUD ATLAS & KLEVER KATHY : Cloud
Atlas enjoys track and trip and run into quartets. Klever Kathy is on
the up, but she does have the weights against her.
RACE 5 :
1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
7 / 1 / 10 / 5
ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1 and 7 - CHRISTMAS CRACKER & HIPPIE TRAIL :
Both fillies have an each way chance.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 6, 9 and 10 - PETIPA, COMFORT ROCK & ROSIE :
Petipa can place. Comfort Rock is trying further. Rosie is trying
further and can run into quartets.
RACE 6 :
1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
2 / 8 / 7 / 4
GAVIN SMITH - Number 2 - WILD BRIER : He is on the up and going a bit further.
GRANT PADDOCK - Number 8 - LUCKY LULU : She is well weighted in the
line up and carries absolutely no weight over a staying trip which she
enjoys. There are no 2400m races for fillies so in addition to taking
on stronger, she faces male opposition as well, but she can place.
RACE 7 :
1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
5 / 3 / 1 / 2
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1 and 3 - SEATTLE SWING & LATE AUTUMN :
Seattle Swing ran a good last over track and trip. Late Autumn is
consistent and should be thereabouts again.
GRANT PADDOCK - Number 5 - COUNTRY ROCK : He is working very well.
He ran a good race last time out and does take on a bit stronger here
but will give a good account of himself.
RACE 8 :
1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
10 / 5 / 2 / 1
ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 4, 10 and 12 - MEGA SCENE, CAPAILL &
VICTORIOUS DIVA : Mega Scene won as a early two year old and has been
battling since then with an elevated rating. It is finally falling and
she can drop in class, so improvement is hoped for. Capaill and
Victorious Diva debut for the yard. Capaill is showing good work at
home and can be competitive. Victorious Diva could need this off a
short break.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 5, 7, 13 and 14 - CHINA WOLF, KILLALA, SWEET
AROMA & CASSINI : China Wolf is working well back home. Killala is at
her best over track and trip and can place. Sweet Aroma could need
this off a break but may still be able to earn, she also enjoys course
and distance. Cassini is fit and well and can run into quartets.
RACE 9 :
1ST FOUR SELECTIONS :
1 / 6 / 7 / 10
ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 2, 7 and 10 - OKLAHOMA SKY, ZANZIBAR BEAT &
ALOYSIUS : Oklahoma Sky is a steady performer, always thereabouts and
she will benefit from the apprentice claim. Zanzibar Beat loves 1000m
and is always right there. Aloysius has been showing improvement as
his merit rating drops and he can be competitive.
TARA LAING - Number 3 - ALAMITO BAY : He loves the 1000m trip and is a runner.

I will be disappointed if Lloyd George does not win and genetically Rosie looks to want this trip

Surely Seattle Choice must be given that race - The other horse was all over him the last 50m

Would agree should get the race. I did think even on the photo that Highland Hero won by a nose but that is just me.

What was Muzi doing there, nearly cleaned up Lyle there. Deserves a holiday for that IMO.
