As we near the end of the year,who is your South African "hero" for 2018

It can be anyone, a friend, family member ,sporting hero, racing personality or any organisation. Name who and why followed by a short explanation.

To me it goes to "Gift of the Givers" for the sterling work and donations irrespective of race, nationality, or financial situation. A big up to this organisation for the tireless and sterling work they do. If all South Africans could follow there example, our beloved country would be a better place.

Anthony Delpech - Surely does not need to ride again but the grit he is displaying to get back into the saddle deserves Racing Hero Status
