Arkle the greatest.

I am aware we might not all be jump fans and many may have heard the name but Arkle was an unbelievable horse .

To give you some idea: At 212, his Timeform rating is the highest ever awarded to a steeplechaser.

To give an indication Sprinter Sacre on 192 and then Kauto Star and Mill House on 191. Despite his career being cut short by injury, Arkle won three Cheltenham Gold Cups, the Blue Riband of steeplechasing, and a host of other top prizes.

Note! when he won his 3rd Cheltenham GC he was 1/10 and won by 30 Lenghts

It certainly is Bob but Arkle was a once off

He was/is my all time favourite NH horse.
Towards the end of his career he was beaten a couple of times but this was purely because of the huge weights he was asked to carry and the Flyweights that the others carried.
