How can they change the name of a horse the day before a race ?

The bookies still have it called Winter In Ireland !

I see that the bookies have changed to the new name but TAB online still has the old name.There's going to some confusion in the tote outlets when favourite backers don't hear their fancy being called :ohmy:

I think this is a much bigger issue than that Hong Kong shite

After posting yesterday I specifically listened to the in studio presenter. Just before he crossed over to the race commentator, he(in studio) still called the horse Winter in Ireland, now if he hasn't been given the correct info, how has the punter who has no access to a forum like this(or SA Horseracing) a hope in hell of receiving the correct info.

A lot of people have a go at the Open Bet, but at least for most part most bookmaking sites are on the ball as opposed to the lumbering("public servant like" ) TAB ,where employees are untrained, unhelpful and have zero interest in what job operation they performing.
