Competition Rule Change

We have just seen the running of R9, win, lose or draw, i will not take part in another ABC competition again, until we revert to a 5 (point winner), 3 point (second placed horse) and 1point (third placed paced) scoring system.

I feel it's it's unfair for someone to pay for two selections, in the hope of choosing a horse with no legs, in one of the selections, because that's all one needs to win on of these competitions - prove me wrong..

James/Otto, proved my point a few years back, he had one winner on a entry form which paid something like R 75.00 a win- competition done and dustered.

This will be me last entry, win lose or draw, unless the rules are are, because, how many of you punt these horses with no legs?

On the up-side, it will be R 100.00 less towards the total, no great loss.

......sorry Bayern had I not accidentally stuck some big punter into High Seas Beauty it would have paid much more for a win....and you would have scooped the compo with the roughie....:oops:

I will go with the flow or Magi call on future compos but my interpretation would be, not as competitive to just use points eg if you had 4 money on shots 90% would take the easier option for max points
In racing surely its the profit thats important and i have no problem with someone choosing a 33/1 winner to scoop the pool.
Its not an easy result to find but good luck to them .
