GROBAN (WIN)

DRAW 8 ain't the best, but GROBAN was finishing very fast last race, hopefully can Nab the favorite on the line, maybe win by a short head

Yesterday I backed welakapela and it was more of a factor that I wanted the trainer to get the first win for the season, kind of the same case here, hoping for the best for the trainer, deserves the win :woohoo:  :woohoo:  :woohoo:

This could be the first win for the trainer in 2 seasons

I agree with PeterD - challenging card:

R1: Hard to look past the favorite

R2: Quite a few moderate maidens - some others lightly raced - for me The Russian Sailor an each-way proposition at the price

R3: Another tricky race; Jay Bomb has found the support, some other fancied runners not well drawn, I'm including all the fancied ones

R4: Glitter Path the one to beat on her last run, but she has proved a bit inconsistent in the past; Andiamo looks a little better than her recent form and is finding some betting support, so she goes into my perms

R5: Chevron has a lot going for him; however on a direct line with Excellent Al, The Brass Way could be the right one - but the draw favors Chevron; I think those 2 to fight it out from Lasair

R6: Sea Air has found a moderate field and from the draw is a worthy favorite; Norland drawn wide and maybe is not really suited to the track, but Striker should get him out running, so could be the biggest danger with March to Glory, who also seems better at more galloping tracks

R7: Competitive handicap; made more difficult as quite a few of the fancied runners look better over slightly further; I'm including all of the fancied ones

R8: Very tough; only Rock Pigeon seems a safe omission

R9: Another difficult fillies and mares handicap to close; Effortless returns from a rest, but has the draw and seems to run well at this track; each-way value at the odds imo

Enjoy B)
