Not the easiest of cards.
Race 1: I have Groban singing for his supper. He put up a very pleasing debut in what looked quite a strong race run in a decent time, and the first three well clear of the 4th horse. A tricky draw to contend with. He has reportedly come on nicely from his debut where he was a bit green. We bump Ehsaan again which finished a length in front of us last time, and he gets a much better draw. One would assume that both will have made improvement from their good debuts, and I would hope that these two will fight it out. The other raced runners look well held, but the first timers are unknowns.
Race 2: Lemon Drop Shot has had a long break since a fair debut but if fit could be the right one in a weakish field.
Race 3: Destiny’s Game has fair recent form, but if Jay Bomb has a bit of luck from a wide draw he looks a more progressive sort.
Race 4: J Soma again has a promising sort from a wide draw in Eightfolds Lass which with luck could upset Glitter Path and Jacko Boy. The year older Adiamo has moderate recent form but at best is well in here and gets a good draw.
Race 5: Chevron looks the right one, but the two Verdonese runners, Feitas Flyer and The Brass Way good debuts and could surprise.
Race 6: Sea Air is an up and coming sort but I think that this race is quite open. March to Glory has fair form. Norland and Oversharing have bad draws but are both capable.
Race 7: Mythical Bolt looked the safest banker but his late scratching throws this open. Bold Coast is now a narrow first choice.
Race 8: Too many inconsistent runners Go field.
Race 9. Visuality is a shadow of her former self, but looks quite well in here. Coyote Girl looks the main danger. The improving younger fillies Upskilled and Starlighttemptress could challenge.
