Afternoon.
This afternoon completed, and went as follows:
The 1st runner we wanted 1.8, and with being around 1.95 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'........
The 2nd runner we wanted 1.46, but a non runner and 3.3% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.44. The price was around 1.49 on arrival and then dropped down to us and beyond, so we had a lay at 1.44 max. The lay went and won a battle, so the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.......
The 3rd runner we wanted 1.2, and with being around 1.28 on arrival and then dropping down to us, we had a lay at the rock bottom of the market and 1.2. The lay went and won, so the way it goes. Traders got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.....
The 4th runner we wanted 2.7, and with being around 2.52 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at 2.52 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result......
The 5th runner we wanted 2.5, but a non runner and 9.8% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.35. There was then another withdrawal and further 12.5% reduction and so now we wanted a lay price of 2.18. The price was around 2.48 on arrival and then dropped down to us and slightly beyond under good late support, so we had a lay at 2.18 max. The lay went and won, so the way it goes. Traders again got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it......
The 6th runner was a non runner, so on to the next runner....
The 7th runner we wanted 2.9, and with being around 2.72 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at 2.72 max. The lay went and won, so gamble landed and the way it goes as yet another favourite goes in........
The 8th runner we wanted 1.4, and with being around 1.59 on arrival, all strategy play completed and just a bit of trading left, I'm leaving it there guys, so good luck traders with the remainder..
WELL PLAYED/BATTLED................(4 from the first 6 (66.66%) went and won, so yet another tough session for us and we did all we could)
'Rolling' strategy target players (no 'free' lays for them) Conceded 3.2 targets at the very worst.........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 2nd runner, and after a big battle, they ended up conceding 3.2 targets at the very worst after their 5th lay (the 7th runner). They then found themselves without enough potential lays left to start another, so they end it there.
'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 2nd runner) at 1.44 max, but a poor result see them go a little behind..........They then had their 2nd lay (the 3rd runner) at 1.2 max, but another poor result see them go a little further adrift...........Then came their 3rd lay (the 4th runner) at 2.52 and a good result see them levels. So 4 runner builders stop here with being level, no room at all for error now with only one potential lay left...
5 runner builders played on and had their 4th lay (the 5th runner) at 2.18, but a poor result see them go behind again........They then hd their 5th and final lay (the 7th runner) at 2.72, but a poor result see them concede 3.2 targets at the very worst...

'Traders' had to concede a little on the 7th runner at 2.72 max, but all others have seen them win a bit, or break level, so they're down a little and have several to go, so good luck with those..
So another very tough session for us, and although we concede today, it was tough and 4 runner builders had a great result in breaking level. I'm off to sink a few and pray for relentment in these favourites! lol Speak in the morning..
Marc.

Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon.
