Race 5 assessment plate a joke. MDK keeps 4 horses in so the race is not scrapped and then scratches three the day before

Strange sort of a card - some straight forward races mixed with some very tough ones - thoughts....
R1: Your guess as good as mine
R2: 3 horse contest  Race fitness with Deerupt and Belton Road; class seemingly with In the Dance; for me I think Deerupt can give In the Dance a real go
R3: Julep takes on the boys, gets the sex allowance and last run really only got going when the race was all over; she is my preference; Hit for a Six obviously can't ignored and my roughie is Knight Owl who tries the distance; for me Mighty Rock, The Litigator and Smart Deal all very moderate and will be hard pushed to threaten Julep and Hit for a Six
R4: Only four can win this; Latin Opus good debut and then finished 2nd in a weakish field after a break; should go close here with normal improvement; The Makwakkers knocking on the door and is my 2nd choice, but has been beaten by Verdi once before, so that one certainly can't be ignored either, while Greatest Wish has his 2nd start after a gelding, so further improvement also possible
R5: Approach Control hard to beat; Protea Paradise to fight out 2nd with Popsicle Toes, who may be better than rated
R6: Now it gets more difficult; I think only Until Dawn can be safely ignored; Samarra goes around the turn again, still seems well weighted and has as good a chance as any; Shelly poor recent form, but Striker takes the ride from pole position, and must have a chance of upsetting if finding the form that saw her beaten a shd by Chitengo, I'm loading up
R7: Competitive sprint where none can be ignored imo; Dalai's Promise has her 3rd run since returning from a unsuccessful trip to the Cape - two good runs since her return, gets the allowance and is my first choice in a tough race; Dancing Queen at best over 1000 and sure to give a good account again and the same goes for Mademoiselle; Khalifa a real dark horse - has beaten Dancing Queen by 3 lengths at level weights in their debuts
R8: Typical low level handicap where not too many seem without a chance; obvious ones are Palace Assembly, Certifiable and Moon Warrior - my two roughies would be Mount Keith (MR drop and Striker) and King of Mani - returns after a long break, but looks well in and could upset running fresh
Enjoy

race1
winter haze my first pick nice ew value watchout for bot duke of marmalade breedings stage dance and true to life
race 2
my first selection here will be in the dance was tempted to go deerupt but i think in the dance might be too good here although if deerupt comes with front running tactics might be hard to catch
r3
i made hit for six the best bet of the day
r4
im with Striker on this one The Makwakkers looks the right one in the race few outsiders with chances here Riboux en var has decent vaal form and paused should also be in the shake up
r5
approach control tries the vaal for the first time but has ran against much stronger and should still clean this field up carrying 57kg
r6
samarra looks the best weighted horse in the race here.. and if believe me jump on terms will be running on strongly from a wide draw but ill stick with Samarra has beaten believe me by 1 length and is 1kg beater off at the weights
race 7
well Dalais promise is weighted to trot home here..last 2 runs 0.25 and 0.85 legnths off the winner carrying 57.5 and 58 carrying 53kgs that looks a punters dream bet
race 8
a lot with chances palace assembly is my ew selection here although the like of certifiable. shortstop.battle creek. moon warrior. king of mani must all go in to pick 6
