groban ignore last run jockey strike and on its 1st run 12/1 could be a nice strike with an inform jock and could give Deshone Steyn his 1st winner as a full trainer.

Race 1
Paul Peter
No 1 Destiny's Game is fit and in good form so should go close but No
10 Rachel is a smart filly and also has a winning chance. No 5 Royal
Future might place.
Shaylen Naidoo
No 3 Notquitethereyet will enjoy the 1200m so should run well.
Race 2
David Nieuwenhuizen
Both my runners No 5 Power Of Love and No 6 Monarch Air both have a
tough task in this field but I am hoping they run well.
Race 3
Ashley Fortune
Both No 6 Airman and No 11 Sullenberger will both need the run
Dorrie Sham
No 7 Groban has got a chance. He is working well and should be closer this time
Race 4
Gary Alexander
Both No 8 Await The Sunset and No 10 The Jocelyn Tree will need the run
Luchelle Kruger
No 12 Dancewithadragon could be in the places. She will prefer this distance.
Paul Peter
No 11 Nevaeh could get into a place.
Race 5
Geoff Woodruff
No 4 Vetri Vel tries this longer distance and could prefer it.
No 6 Mr Cuddles needed the last run and I am hoping for a better run.
Race 6
Paul Peter
Both my runners No 1 Alpine Glacier and No 7 Tripod are well and could
get into the places.
Grant Maroun
I have 4 runners entered and my preference is for No 12 Ottawa and No
13 Splat The Cat
who could place.
Race 7
Nothing
Race 8
Paul Peter
No 2 Defy Gravity is very well and has a good each-way chance.
Brian Wiid
No 6 Kurt's Approval is better drawn and is distance suited so I am
expecting a good run from him
Geoof Woodruff
It took No 7 Knight Owl awhile to win a race and he would prefer 2000m
but I am hoping he can place.
Deshone Steyn
I have four runners in this race but No 12 Storm outgoing is my best
hope and I am expecting him to run very well

Race 2: Braxton(2) 11-2 She is 3kg better off with Fariha for a 8 lenght beating but she was not striding out, so I give her another chance to turn the tables. I Like It is unknown quality but is a 3 year old carrying top weight.
Race 3: Got The Greenlight(3) 5-2 Has run to stronger to a horse called Frosted Gold who has won the Storm Bird LISTED and ran 2nd in a grade 3 race clear of 3rd place horse. I expect him to beat the other 2 in the market quite comfortably.
Race 4: Jive Express(1) 19-10 BEST BET OF THE CARD. Has run to stronger in the maidens and I expect her to romp home. She will appreciate the step up in distance and will be hard to beat.
Race 5: Maroon Bells(1) 22-10 I would have made this my next best bet on the card. He was beaten by a horse called Fire And Rescue who in turn came out to win a MR77 by where there was a MR81 horse in the race. NO RACE!!!!!
Race 6: Sugoi(
10-1 My value for the day. On the weights he should beat Alpine Glacier and Alpine Glacier should beat Tripod And the favourite Galactic Warrior can't beat Alpine Glacier. So what does that tell us? Sugoi and Alpine Glacier to fight this one out to make this a PA and Bi-Pot result race. Sugoi is much much better over 1000m, ignore the last 2 runs over 1200m
Race 7: Silver Thursday(1) 33-10 Now she is classy and why they have her at this price I do not know. How they can have Forest Express(5) 13-20 at this price is scary. ST ran 5th in the Oaks last year behind Secret Potion and had FE behind. Yes FE might of improved but 13-20 I will not be taking
Race 8: Street Flyer(11) 12-1 He carries 48kg with the appie allowance and rate him a chance in this line up. Defy Gravity(2) 15-4 has a chance but has to give my selection 12.5 kg. I rather take the 12-1. Manitoba(3) will still beat Wild Fire(
on the weights with their last run
Have a good day

Bob, the comments shown above under race 3 for Groban should presumably by Deshone Steyn and not Dorrie Sham.
Sorry to disappoint you, but he is out of Soprano Singer, and named for Josh Groban. I'm happy to sell you a share and then we can rename him!
We were very pleased by his debut run where he was not far off two smart juveniles when somewhat green, and running on nicely. The form of that race has been franked. In hindsight, running him 2nd start from a wide draw on the Turffontein inside track was a mistake- he was dropped out to last and never really got into the race.
He bumps Ehsaan and Got the Greenlight again today, but he now gets 3kg from them and if he has made the same level of improvement, then he has an ew shout, and should certainly be included in trifectas and quartets. The other two winners also look useful, so this is quite a strong juvenile race. He does look the best of the maidens unless one of the first timers is quite smart.
It remains to be seen what his right trip will be as he is by a staying sire out of a sprinting mare. The half brother by Elusive Fort is the useful Lanza. That one gets a mile but seems best over sprints.
