What is happening at turfies?

Races 8 and 9 abandoned. Guess lightning.

......so they say....but watching the clean feed it looked like it had cleared up and the storm moved north but hung out over Rosebank....still has not hit Waterfall and World of Golf lighting sirens did not activate
.....something very iffy about calling it off.....heard them say it was getting too dark to proceed....but why not turn the lights on....but when there is little will there is no way.....mediocre meeting gets cut short....they got their rake and saved on an electricity bill.....:S
