Taking my chances with the double :-

1 Horse Racing South Africa SCOTTSVILLE RACE 2 2019-04-21 13:30 9. PINKERTON M/Win 1.00 Pending
2 Horse Racing South Africa SCOTTSVILLE RACE 3 2019-04-21 14:05 6. ROSE DANCER M/Win 2.50 Pending
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race 7, think we agree on merit ratings either Eyes Wide Open or Made To Conquer should win this, however, this must surely be a stepping stone for bigger races to come, and therefore will not be cut in half to win this. I do think that both will need the run.

The dark horse of the race must be Platinum Prince, has bumped some hard hitters, and is racing fit, but why would Fourie jump off a racing fit horse? The other thing, it's been a longtime since his last visit to the winner's enclosure, but not without a chance.

The one for me is Silva's Bullet, a lightly raced 4 year old who looks open to any amount of improvement. Admittedly toughest task to date, but under the circumstances can beat the three mentioned above.

Kannemeyer stable looks set to have a good day today

My first choice from the stable would no doubt be MISS SMARTY PANTS,really fancy this filly she won so well last time out carrying 61.5kgs BUT THEN I LOOKED INTO KILMOKEA FORM

Last 6 runs
4 second places, including a second place over C/D although not in the strongest of fields, but did carry 59kgs on that day and only 50kgs today

LAST 3 RUNS OF KILMOKEA

Have been over the 1600m
2 over the poly and 1 on the grass (Greyville)

The 2 poly runs

Draw 9-9 FM78 handicap finished in 6th place 6 lengths of the winner (cramped weakened)
Draw 10-12 FM76 handicap finished in 2nd place 1.10 lengths of the winner (over raced ran on)

GRASS RUN
FLAMBOYANT STAKES GR3
DRAW 8-11
FINISHED IN 5TH PLACE 1.30 LENGTHS OF CAMPHORATUS(who has come out and won a GRADE1),KILMOKEA WAS RUNNING ON AT FINISH
AND IS 20/1 TODAY

Would like to see MISS SMARTY PANTS AND KILMOKEA FIGHT OUT THE FINISH!!

SABINAS DYNASTY (MR106)
MIYABI GOLD (MR105)

Looks to be needing the run, probably for bigger races to come, they could of been priced up 18/10 and 16/10,then would of been a concern

what do you guys think of
9 STRAIGHT

Jockey and Trainer in good form...
Jockey trys horse for the first time...
Blinkers strike...

HWB pays 66/1 ... looks like a nice outsider.

how much damage will today do to the surface with champion season around the corner? kickback looked hectic in the first
