Why does Saftote/TAB take so long to payout

.....on some international races.....Ascot Ozz all clear win place exacta co mingling paid out.....our end trifecta local pool has not.....see it every day every where they co-mingle or is it slow for no mingle.....why are they so slow to .....pay pay....:huh:

You do realise where this is heading, don't you? It may take a week, a month or years but sooner or later (probably later like the rest of us!) the light bulb will come on and you will stop doing this altogether.

Let me recap what you probably already know and will not acknowledge : This game ( horse racing ) is loaded in every single respect to reward the service providers and NOT the punters or owners. Eventually you will tire of channeling endless funds into a black hole and hopefully begin the process of slow rehabilitation & alternate activities. Then you can do what the rest of the population does : bet perhaps once a year on the July and be done with it whether you win, lose or draw.

Betting with a service provider like Saftote is a bit like visiting a really bad restaurant. You foolishly continue patronising it in the forlorn hope that it will get better. It won't. Trust me - any business which continues to pay a nil dividend on a bet most certainly does not have your interests at heart. ( Would you go to a restaurant and order a steak only to be served with an empty plate??? Saftote does this every single day yet still manages to find unwitting punters to pull that stunt on).

.....thanx Garrick I get the gist.....but the tote is for me like a corner cafe slot machine.....not nice being a winner but nor having the cash paid out for another spin.....the question is also a bit rhetorical as they will never answer.....but why cant they pay out when the all clear is official.....my take....it is not automated and done manually.....so when the dude/or bint....goes off for a smoke or to take a sh!t takes a call they forget to give an all clear.....it is poor staff with bad managers.....:S

.....also now results are taking longer to post up too....methinks that they have bitten off more than they can chew.....not the amount of traffic the problem.....there is just too many small f@cking pools.....:whistle:

......now a lighting bolt payout after slow result posting.....but look at the swingers here.....the outide swingers pay less than on with tote fav.......another small pool stuff up.....:huh:

.....and now PE racing tote odds not available for race 8 as they have not cleared race 7 although it is clear and paid out......the system is frozen.....

And they where all paying even more until the tote update nearly 1 minute after the race had been completed.

I see it changed after they included the 2 scratchings so no place on Arte.

.....I actually had places on both Leven Point and Arte....was really chuffed that the will pays after the race had closed was reflecting the no 15 Leven Point was paying R23 and change..... also saw the scratchings were both taken out with that provisional payout and Arte was a losing bet.....went out to walk the dog..... and then back now see the difference in the actual payout.....WTF man....wish I was the one that was in on the tote fiddle....:S
