Race 4 - Woodstock Festival 9/4


Race 5 - Basadi Faith 28/10, Vandah's Spirit 14/1, Gaian Glory 25/1


Race 6 - African Warrior 8/1, Cartel Captain 10/1

Also think Master of Illusion will run well @ 12/1


Race 7 - Snowdance 3/1, Neptune's Rain 12/1


Race 8 - Undercover Agent 11/2, Mardi Gras 13/2

It’s not clear how the draw will affect races down the straight.
Freedom Charter won a good race in the Poinsettia and as we did not think that she was fully tuned for that, I am hopeful of improvement and she must be in with a shout in what looks a very open race for a WFA Gr1. Elusive Heart finished very well in that same race, and again we saw that as a prep run, and she has earned her place here. Will have to come from off the pace, but will be running on strongly and could surprise.
The Jhb form looks quite strong, and Schippers is the form filly. Snowdance is the class filly in the race and if fit is the one to beat. Mighty High probably the best of the 3yos. Juniper Spring seemed in need of her last run when well beaten favourite, but cannot be ignored today.

Shew, not often you see Anton ride a poor race like that! Why not give the horse a breather once he got to the front!!!!

Another nightmare card - only certainty is the payouts will be big. Impossible to predict how the draw down the straight will play out ....so my guesses:

Cavivar to run down Basadi Faith
Master Jay from African Warrior
Mighty High from Schippers and Neptune's Rain
Mardi Gras, Bold Respect, Prince of Kahal
