RACE 1 :

• MONTANNA TURNER (GEORGE UREN) - Numbers 4 and 6 - ELMA & LAW AND ORDER : Elma has her first run, she shows pace at work but may need the education. Law and Order really shows good work and the hope is that she brings her track work to course.
• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 9 and 10 - RUSSIAN LADY & SISTER LEE : Improvement is expected from Russian Lady. Sister Lee is improving all the time.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 2 and 11 - BENEFICIARY & TEQUILA MARIA : Beneficiary is a nice filly but may need this run. Tequila Maria is looking or further, this is an another educational run for her.
TARA LAING - Number 7 - LIQUID SUNSHINE : She needed her last and could still need this.
RACE 2 :

• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 3 and 6 - BHALTIER & BOLD STRIKE : Bhaltier won well over track and trip and is an improving sort. Bold Strike enjoys course and distance and can be thereabouts.
• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 4 and 5 - FOREIGN SOURCE & SPIN MASTER : Foreign Source is consistent, he has his first run over the 1400m distance, but he is expected to enjoy it and has an each way chance. Improvement is expected from Spin Master.
SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 8 and 9 - JUST AMAZING & WALL OF SOUND : Just Amazing is trying the 1400m, but we do think it will suit. Her last run was not great, but she is better than that. Wall of Sound is new to the yard, but her work does suggest she is looking for the 1400m and she has a neat draw to her advantage. Both fillies have to take on the boys, but good runs are expected.
RACE 3 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1, 10 and 12 - SILVERY HEIGHTS, IN THE SKY & JELLICOE AVENUE : Silvery Heights debuts for the yard, she is expected to run well. In the Sky is also new, she is a small filly and may need further. Jellicoe Avenue is improving steadily.
• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 4, 7 and 14 - ROSIE, SURPRISE APPROACH & NEVERTHELESS : Rosie I holding form and will be there again. Surprise Approach needs to jump, her day will come. Nevertheless will enjoy the extra.
MONTANNA TURNER (GEORGE UREN) - Number 5 - SUZIE MAYWEATHER : She is working well and will enjoy the mile.
DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 8 - WINTER ORCHID : She ran a good race in her last and is expected to enjoy the mile.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 13 - RED FOREST : She has shown improvement and we are hoping for more.
SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 2, 3 and 15 - ELUSIVE GREEN, PROFOUND & ROCKING THE BLUES : Elusive Green found the 2000m a stretch too far in her last especially as she over raced in the running. She is back to the mile and can be competitive. Profound ran a great last - it was on Poly but I do think she showed the improvement because she enjoyed the mile, not so much the surface and hopefully she can follow up. Rocking the Blues is a juvenile in against older. She has to take her chance as this is the trip she is looking for and she needs to run. It will be her first run around the bend.
RACE 4 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1 and 5 - UNION JACK & STREAK OF SILVER : Union Jack won well in his last, he probably is at his best over 1400m, but is not without chance. Streak of Silver is always thereabouts and always has earning potential.
• TARA LAING - Number 3 - AFRIKABURN : He will be more effective over the mile and we are expecting an improved run.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 4, 7 and 8 - WILD BRIER, STORY OF MY LIFE & PAPER TOWN : Wild Brier has his first run back and may need it. Story of my Life always gives of his best and likewise for Paper Town who enjoys track and trip and is always thereabouts.
RACE 5 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 3, 6 and 8 - DELIA’S DELIGHT, LANDELA & DAME COMMANDER : Delia’s Delight is in good form but she does have the weights against her. Landela will need this. Dame Commander tries the 1400m but she is expected to see it out and in good form she can find the frame.
• GAVIN SMITH - Number 4 - KLEVER KATHY : She enjoys track and trip but does bump a competitive field.
TARA LAING - Numbers 5, 7 and 10 - SASSY LADY, RED GRANITE & ESTEEMAL : Sassy Lady is at best over the 1400m trip and she is in with a shout. Red Granite needed her last and could run into quartets. Esteemal will find the 1400m on the short side, but she is the best weighted horse in the line up and she’s not to be left out of quartets.
SHARON KOTZEN - Number 9 - VALENTINE’S GIRL : She out at the weights in a strong field but she does love course and distance.
RACE 6 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 2, 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9 - BRANDINA, EDMONDA, GREAT ACHIEVEMENT, LUNA WISH, MENDOCINO & PIERINA : Brandina is in good form and has claims. The trip is a bit of a query for both Edmonda and Pierina. Great Achievement should enjoy the 1400m and can earn. Luna Wish has proved herself over track and trip and was a good winner in her last, she is a runner. Mendocino has needed to mature, she is now headed in the right direction and she should run well.
• TARA LAING - Number 3 - CAPTAIN ANNE BONNY : She would be more effective over 1200m but is not without chance.
SHARON KOTZEN - Number 5 - EFFORT : She takes on winners but she has to try, they are only two years old once. She has run fair races of recent and though she has a tough task, she is not out of it.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 10 and 12 - STEADY BREEZE & YODALICIOUS : Both fillies are well and showing good work and take their chances in a competitive.
MONTANNA TURNER (GEORGE UREN) - Number 11 - WORLD SQUARED : She is improving all the time and though she has a tough task against winners we are hoping for a fair run as she does prefer the 1400m trip.
RACE 7 :

• GAVIN SMITH - Number 3 - EVOLVER : He is working well and if he sees out the extra he will be thereabouts.
• JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 4, 6 and 11 - ONESIE, FRIKKIE & OMAHA TRIBE : Onesie has run so well of recent and we are hoping she can keep going, she is very well. Frikkie is super honest and should be involved. Omaha Tribe tries the trip and we are hoping he can improve.
SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 5 and 9 - MULTO GOLD & DATA LINK : Though Multi Gold tries the trip, I am confident he will see it out, he needs the pace to suit him, but can run well. Data Link is as honest as they come and if she sees out the extra she could surprise.
ALAN GREEFF - Number 8 - DALLEY : She tries for black type here. She is an out and out stayer but will have her first crack at the 3600m.
MONTANNA TURNER (GEORGE UREN) - Number 10 - BLUE SAGE : She will appreciate being back on turf. Though she tries the 3600m trip for the first time she is fit and well and expected to see it out.
TARA LAING - Number 2 - SHEET WEAVER : He will go the distance and on recent form must have a chance.
RACE 8 :

• GRANT PADDOCK - Number 2 - DROP KICK : He is fit and well and putting up some good work. He has taken on older horse and has a good chance.
• SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 3 and 7 - JUST CHAOS & JUST MY STYLE : Just Chaos runs here prepping for upcoming features but she can be competitive off the back of her great Derby run. Just my Style should enjoy the step up in trip, she is well drawn and lightly weighted and has a place chance.
GAVIN SMITH - Number 5 - SEATTLE SWING : He won his last very well but does take on stronger now.
TARA LAING - Numbers 1, 4 and 6 - FREE AGENT, KING DJANGO & ARANJUEZ : Free Agent has been a little disappointing of late but in a small field can earn. King Django will probably still need this. Aranjuez would be better on Poly but he is not without a place chance.
RACE 9 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1 and 4 - DUBULA & SEVILLE : Dubula has good Poly form locally and can hopefully repeat now on turf, not a hundred percent sure of what to expect but if he brings his track work he will be a huge runner. Seville is runs rather in and out but he does have upset potential.
• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 3, 7, 10 and 11 - ROYAL FORT, WILD MOVE, TOMMY THE BUILDER & EX NIHILO : Ex Nihilo is expected to improve. Royal Fort is holding from very well, he should be thereabouts again. Wild Move has his first run back after a break for the gelding, he is working well. Tommy the Builder is expected to show improvement.
TARA LAING - Numbers 5 and 13 - CAPTAIN MAROONED & ZABIVAKA : Captain Marooned won over 1000m last time out and should actually prefer the 1200m so he is expected to be thereabouts again. Zabivaka won his maiden last time out and takes on much stronger now.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 6, 8 and 15 - PEN-CHAN, CHESTNUT WILD & RIBOVAR : Pen-Chan was disappointing in his last, he can do better, but is probably at his best on the Poly. Chestnut Wild also disappointed last time out and can do better. Ribovar needed his last and improvement is expected.
GRANT PADDOCK - Number 12 - ROCK THE COT : He is working very well, the blinkers go back on and he has a place chance.
MONTANNA TURNER (GEORGE UREN) - Number 14 - DAY’S OF THUNDER : He has his post maiden run so is up in class, but we are hopeful of a good run and would make him a quartet inclusion.
DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 17 - TORIO LAKE : He will enjoy being back on grass and loves 1200m so improvement is expected.
SHARON KOTZEN - Number 16 - SHE’S FOXY : She races off a lengthy break but is working well and if not needing it could be thereabouts.
