race 6 - very open blush scarlet my 1st pick!!! hammies fan 2nd pick both roughies that are drawn 1 and 2 reason is both sleeping single and Indian song carry 4kg and 4.5 mg more than there last runs one feels these big penalties are a bit high to overcome.
race 7 - Nasty harry or La Favourari preference for La Favourari rested 34 weeks is a sprint so not that phased of needing it or not

Kenilworth

Race 1
Dean Kannemeyer
No 2 Benicarlo - Will need the run
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 7 Saroo - The Marchfield gelding should be looking for further, so
not really expecting too much from him on debut.
Piet Botha
No 6 Optimum - Ran a good race last time and has taken the run well.
He does take on a competitive field of maidens but should finish in
the top half.
Joe Ramsden
No 3 Capkuta - Has had quite a few chances but is relatively
consistent and should be thereabouts again.
No 8 Stormin Norman - Will be trying blinkers and we're hoping to see
further improvement

Race 2
Glen Kotzen
No 1 Too Phat Too Fly - Given a break after season. Has had a gallop,
put up some nice work
No 2 Ostinato - Has had a gallop - done some nice work
No 3 Essence Of Life - Has had two gallops
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 4 Lesedi La Rona : Fitted with a tongue tie and blinkers and should
be competitive this time.
No 6 Crowded House : She is well and should be competitive in this
small field at the weights

Race 3
Brett Crawford
No 1 All About Sophia - May need the run
No 6 Gloaming - May need the run
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 5 Duchess Of State will need the experience, time and further, so
just starting her out.
No 7 Mayfern : She is having another run up the straight and will be
better over further. She should only come into her own around the
turn.
No 8 Royal Windsor was very green around the bend last time and never
traveled. Back up the straight again to teach her properly. It will be
too short but she could find the back end of the money in a small
field like this.
Dean Kannemeyer
No 9 Victoria Tower - Her last run is best ignored. She races up the
Kenilworth straight and must be given a chance

Race 4
Brett Crawford
No 5 Captain's Advice - Will need the run
Mike Robinson
No 7 Happy Wanderer - Nice horse but will need the experience
Vaughan Marshall
No 9 It's Complex - Nice horse but will need further
Glen Kotzen
No 14 Whipping Marmalade - Had one gallop at Durbanville, might be a
little bit green
Greg Ennion
No 15 Winter Tango - Needs further and may need the run
Dean Kannemeyer
No 2 Salt - Has been knocking on the door and should be thereabouts again
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 8 Holy Warrior was also very green around the turn so back up the
straight. He must be included in all bets.
No 11 Pacific Rim ; Good run on debut. He will be better suited on the
turn but he has come on with that run. If he doesn't get caught out
needing further he may have a winning chance.

Race 5
Glen Kotzen
No 10 Lit - Might need it and be a little green - first run around the
turn but nice big strong colt
Joe Ramsden
No 8 Celtic Voyager - Should enjoy racing around the turn and will
probably be better suited to a bit further
Dean Kannemeyer
No 12 Sir Michael - Is a nice type who will appreciate the extra
distance and probably further

Race 6
Brett Crawford
No 1 Vodka Lime - May need it
Joe Ramsden
No 12 Favola - Has once again has a wide draw to contend with and has
a tough ask
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 4 Indian Song has a fair draw. She is fit and well. She must have a
good each-way chance in a handicap.
No 10 Petite Bijou : First run out the maidens so hard to assess her
chances. She is working well so we will see where she fits in.

Race 7

Candice Bass-Robinson
No 4 Russet Air : Second last time in a 1400m race needing the outing
and he will have a big winning chance.
No 5 What A Winner : Very honest and consistent, include in all.

Race 8
Glen Puller
No 4 Fire Walker - He had a bit of a flat run after having his flu
vaccinations last time out but we're expecting to see an improvement
this time
No 9 Western Storm - Was in need of his last run and could still
possibly need this run to bring him to peak
Joe Ramsden
No 1 Apollo Ace - Seldom runs a bad race and should be in the shake up
No 13 Temp The Tiger - Improved last run but a tough race to win
Candice Bass-Robinson
No 7 Naturalist : Back to a sprint again as the 1400m was too far last
time. He won his previous two starts over the sprint trips so we
hoping to return to winning ways back up the straight.

Race 6 from an exotic point of view one could take a chance and omit the top three 8,4,1 and the 7
chance banker could be the 6,most would if stable jock rode .sick stuff that
you could supplement with 13 and had there been 4 places on offer Hammie's Fan be a fair place bet at evens and better
Include Petite Bijou in quartets

Race 5 - I wouldnt leave Kingston Rock out of anything... and at 10/1 and just over 2/1 a drum looks a solid option..
