Increase in Fees

NRB have notified of an increase in nomination fees as of 1st August
The Cape Town stable rent has also been increased by 8%
I would try to understand their thinking but I believe I am not smart enough
But I do have a Crystal ball and so I predict that with 1 year Cape Town will only race
once a week and lose most of their smaller owners and trainers

What I’ve been told today in response to this thread.

All regions rents are going up, so are the cost of bedding, fodder and feed ( Epol R285 for 40kg)

The Grooms are also looking for an increase

Even harder times ahead
