Exotic pools (net) today compared

________CT(Ken)_____PE(Fair)

Jpt..... 257550 --- 259555 ---- (50-50)
PA..... 448464 --- 513143 ---- (47-53)
P6..... 482584 --- 499172 ---- (49-51)

Total 48%-52%

You have to say that it is getting harder to call PE a minor centre, a weekend card from Ken did not have the same pulling power as PE mid-week meeting as far as the exotic pools were concerned. Or perhaps we have to accept that off season, CT is not a major centre? Or alternatively, punters in KZN and Gauteng wager more on PE?

PE was a carded meeting and KEN a carryover meeting...

Maybe PE betting is more popular with KZN than CT because they feel it is more in line with their own abysmal quality. Lol.

Yip Jack Dash
Increase in stakes is due for PE.

It is simply because punters trust the integrity of PE racing more than Cape Town. I think you will find that PE's turnovers are consistently higher than Cape Towns on week days.

My very biased opinion on this is because Andrew rode a lot of horses with form in PE hence the big pools :?)
