Why the Western Cape Larry?

Mondays meeting with all interested owners in Cape Town needs a few questions answered, not least, what is the agenda? What type of imbecile calls an important meeting and doesn't have the courtesy to list what the topics to be discussed will be? Why is the Western Cape so important to Larry when no such discussions have been held or planned for members in Gauteng and the Eastern Cape? Why start here? Why is Larry going down with his board, when he has a WC RA chapter resident in this beautiful city? The most interesting question of all is whether the Chairman of Kenilworth Racing has been invited, and whether he will attend. I am told that swapping of Christmas cards between the two ended a while back.

I hope members will take the opportunity to lambast the lizard with questions as to why he got involved in doing Phumelelas dirty work in closing Flamingo. I hope that they ask him for proof of his efforts to keep that track open. Come on people, give the leech hell. All the whiners about closing Flamingo, this is your opportunity to get the truth. You wont have many other opportunities to do so. Kimberley trainers and owners, elect a representative and make things uncomfortable.

If memory serves me right, Kenilworth Racing have a written agreement with Phumelela guaranteeing stakes increases.
One can assume that the Phumelela agent, Larry Wainstein is trying to get past honouring that agreement.
Maybe ABC admin. should follow this closely and report back.

Larry Wynberg should not be allowed to run a bath, now we have him running SA racing.
Closure of DBNVILLE
Reduction of stakes
Closure of training facilities
Sale of part of Kenilworth
Less meeting per season
and Whats in it for me

I think a reduction is guaranteed James. My question remains why the focus on the WC? Nothing has been finalised in the owner heartland of Gauteng

Something OTA dont know ??

Not sure if Larry`s remit but lower stakes on the card

Hoping to sell Milnerton!

Move all Equestrian Sports including racing stables and track work to Durbanville if they can get permission from government to change lease agreement

Only race at Kenilworth

In the meeting at flamingo they spoke about building 900 stables at durbanville (apparently cant sell durbanville because they dont own it ) moving all phillippi and milnerton trainers to durbanville and sell Milnerton (must now be worth plenty millions ) and use durbanville as training centre and race at both durbanville and kenilworth

I can never imagine Durbanville being given permission to become a training center. If they sold milnerton I wonder which members will have shares in the buyers company.

.....although a good idea....if proposed by the clowns then another pie in the sky proposition to try soften the blow....it would take years to build and move out if ever possible....by that time racing is really in its moer.... .
