He is up against a couple of strong 3yos, but not badly weighted here. The mile may be a bit on the sharp side, so the assumption is that this is test to see where he is. I have heard that he is fit and well, however its always difficult to keep an entire going at age 6. In the UK they have such great training surfaces available so even after a long break, they can get them properly fit at home.
I've had a sentiment bet at 9/1.

You would have to say he just ran like he needed the run badly

Traveled well, then outpaced, probably staying on again late.

Hope they persevere at least once again
