Last Winter makes debut for Sir M Stoute yard with Moore in board 5-2 ...can he revive his career at 6 now??

The connections should be happy if Last Winter could place after his lengthy absence. This field can measure how good Last Winter is as it includes,

King of Change - Second in the Guineas
Wootton - Third to Without Parole in a Group One
Turgenev - Ran behind Duke of Hazzard who is a Group Two Winner

The International races in Woodbine was run over the last weekend and that would have been ideal for Last Winter. There is a German Group 1 later in the year in November though.

Hopefully this is a tester to see if he’s good enough for Champions Day

On his run style in SA the up hill finish at Sandown would be lovely for him

The Champions Day race will be loaded with potential. There is a Group 2 on Arc weekend in France. He should rather try that.
