A race by race opinion :-
R1) Kilindini at prohibitive odds looks the right one.
R2) Sees the re-appearance of the highly regarded General Franco. Read somewhere Snaith thinks Frank Lloyd Wright will be a hard nut to crack. Going to trust the the fact that Fourie has taken the mount having won on FLR two runs back, and ridden him last time out. Regards General Franco, what is worrying, there was never an official explanation for that last run, so can that happen again? - who knows. Anyway, he does look open to the most improvement, and that's good enough for me.
R3) With a reasonable draw and if handling the Durbanville track, Point Of Sale can win this. The closest market rival, Lilac Sensation will require a heap of luck to win from stall 12.
R4) Really like to look of Mayfern. Of the top three in the betting, she has the widest draw to negotiate, but does have that come on look. Doesn't have to improve much to reverse the placing with Halliberry, and Follow The Star is flattered by the finishing distance behind Flame Tree.
R5) The value bet for me on the card, Blackbeard. Going through the top few in the betting, the favourite, Sir Michael may need the run. Silver Host has a tough task from a wide draw, a light mass could give him a sniff. Blackbeard did not incur a penalty for his last run, albeit in PE, as that was a plated race, however, for me, distances beyond 1400m for newly turned three year olds are difficult to win. From a decent draw, think Blackbeard could run them ragged.
R6) Mister Vargus will go very very close. Don't be put off by the fact that Fourie is not riding, he can't make the weight. This does look like a pointer.
The rugby will finish at the right time to make money:)

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
