In this instance I don't think it was stable money as when they interviewed Callan Murray to ask him about Bassam they asked if he had ridden it in training and he said he might of he didn't really know.
A horse the stable would want to win with first time out I'm sure the stable jockey would have remembered if he had ridden it in training and what it's work was like.
