R1 - Mdk probably is the right horse, i just think Barista @ 17/1 and 16/10 top 4 is the way to go EW...
R2 - I wonder if Mr Francis has considered sending himself a letter as an owner asking his trainer to send his gelging to a show jumper...Weak race... Poppycock the right one...Magic Vision to follow him home.

looks tough tomorrow few fancys
r1 - oscar wilde win
r2 - ill have to go two horses here poppycock got good form to win this race but for me MAGIC VISION 11-10 a place im sure this youcanthurrylove formline warrants plenty respect
r3 - extremely difficult to give any confidence on anything this is a field race if ever there was one
r4 - GOLD GRIFFEN ew here for me exotics add 8 11 12.. i dont see why dickens is favorite ran 4.5l off in a field of the same level carrying the same weight needs to improve a lot to be competitive imo
r5 - FULL OF ATTITUDE strong ew for me here not the strongest of fields here this is an 80 mr last win came over an 84 won easy been running against a lot stronger draw a slight worry so ill be more on the places add in all exotics 2 3 5 8 14
r6 - 4 5 6 8 competitive race here very tough race to give a bet slight preference for promiseofamaster but no bets here
r7 - tricky race this and i think ive only got outsiders in this race
1 2 3 for me here this is an 84 mr where all 3 horses have been running against horses higher than 90mr maybe 5 needs to be included 1 2 3 5 no bets here for me though
race 8 - we end off on a banker i do think this looks to be a 2 horse race on form even though the betting suggests otherwise im strongly in the camp of PERFECTLY PUT this formline is fire at the moment i backed a horse at greyville today in race 2 where the horse ran 4l off p put formline is everywhere at the moment and will be my p6 banker the danger on form for me will be leopold but from gate 13 is a bit of a task to catch a horse as good as perfectly put i make the best on the day have a go on this on

I am not really sure the De Kock hottie is worth it's price.
Mainly cos of open price abd took a while to shorten.
Regardless not worth the price and best to look else where.

Is Gavin not contracted to ride for them?
May win but those odds seem crazy even for a horse that cost 4.5 bar
Played to beat it with the 1 and Muzi mount.

Turffontein Trainer Comments
Race 1
Mike/Adam Azzie
No 1 Barista - Nice looking horse, hoping for a decent run
Alec Laird
No 7 Creation - Working well, expecting a bold appearance
Tyrone Zackey
No 9 Lyntys Legacy - Hoping for a nice comeback run
Mike/Matthew De Kock
No 11 Oscar Wilde - Each-way chance
Sean Tarry
No 14 Temenee - Should earn a cheque if not too green
Lucky Houdalakis
No 3 Trend Master - He will be ideally distance suited and should be
very competitive
Corne Spies
No 6 Ramkat - He's drawn a bit wide but could run into the places
No 13 Thunderbolt Lane - Raced very green on debut and will need to improve
Race 2
Stephen Lerena
No 8 Calltothebar - This will be his first run over this long distance
and we will just have to see how he goes
Tony Nassif
No 3 Voodoo - Has in form jockey Warren Kennedy up and he should run a
decent race
Corne Spies
No 5 Imperial Ruby - He's trying a longer trip and I'm expecting him
to be in the money
No 11 Tyrells Bullet - He's still a bit green but over this longer
distance, he could finish in the money
Race 3
Fabian Habib
No 7 Glamorous Scandal - She's fit and well and although she takes on
a competitive field, she should be in the first 3
Lucky Houdalakis
No 11 Crystal Stream - She's trying this maximum trip for the first
time but if she stays, she should run well
Race 4
Paul Peter
No 7 Born Rich - Will need the run
Barend Botes
No 1 Shabba Ranks - He will appreciate this longer trip and is one to
include in the quartets
No 10 Woodland's Forest - Is distance suited and has a money chance
Scott Kenny
No 9 Village Deep - He's course and distance suited and should be in
the shake up
Race 5
Paul Matchett
No 4 Royal Honour - Distance too short
Fabian Habib
No 8 Waqaas - He's drawn very wide here but is extremely well and
should be in the first 3
Chris Jonker
No 13 Prix Eclips - He has a nice light galloping weight and if he can
see out the longer distance, he will have a money chance
Scott Kenny
No 1 Tokyo Drift - He's fit and well and although he doesn't have the
ideal draw
he should be right there at the finish
Stephen Lerena
No 14 Supa Mufti - He won a good race over the same course and
distance last time but does have a tough draw to overcome this time
Race 6
Tony Nassif
No 3 Eastern Healer - He's having his first run for the stable and
should need the run
Race 7
Barend Botes
No 9 Wings Of Honour - Was slow away and was pulling last time and I'm
hoping see some improvement from her
Fabian Habib
No 8 Desert Kitten - She might just need this run, possible place chance
Chris Jonker
No 7 Fictitious - Her last run is best ignored. I expect a good run from her
Grant Maroun
No 12 Queen Of War - May find her opposition too strong for her
Race 8
Grant Maroun
No 8 Golden Man - Should need the run
No 10 Prince Of Jordan - He's drawn out deep but could run into the placings
Barend Botes
No 9 Strikeitlikeamatch - Will be running over his preferred distance
and from a nice draw, he should be in the shake up
Chris Jonker
No 6 Ice Eater - He likes the course and distance and I'm expecting
another very good run from him
Stephen Lerena
No 12 Chainsaw - He will be having a comeback run and should need it
Corne Spies
No 2 Captain Morgane - He's a bit off form at the moment but I'm
hoping to see some improvement from him

The Sean Tarry first time in the first race has a good breeding.
Just on that I think she should go close

Very tricky card imo , thoughts ....
R1: Obviously the weight of money points to the favorite, but I'd watch what happens closer to race time - certainly no value at the current price; Trend Master the most likely one to take advantage should the favorite fails, while Creation is expected to provide a 'bold performance'
R2: Hard to look past Poppycock; Kalahari Chrome has improved in his last start, looks the main danger imo; Magic Vision is finding support in the market, but is going an extra 1000m today, so who knows; Romantic Era another who tries further, but ran less than 7 lengths behind Spero Optima, so could be good enough to place in this weak field
R3: Tough start to the P6; not a lot between them and I think all of Cranberry Crush, Perfect Light, Il Mondo, Flying Fantasy, Glamorous Scandal, Merengue and Ration My Passion need inclusion (at least)
R4: Most difficult race on the card for me - field needed
R5: Not really getting any easier; at the odds maybe Liberado could be worth an each-way nibble
R6: I think Promiseofamaster has the form and could be a banker on a tough card; however Spero Optima is finding a lot of betting support, and may be better than rated
R7: Competitive fillies and mares, I fancy Fictitious - gets the 4kg allowance from a good draw; Arikel in form and the main danger imo, while Desert Kitten is upset material with Queen of War
R8: Competitive again; I'm not convinced of the KZN form, so Perfectly Putt not for me; my top 3 are Ice Eater, Gemcutter and King of the Delta - all of them in form and Gemcutter has the added advantage of pole position
P6 imo very hard to catch, and should both Promiseofamaster and Spero Optima get run over, we could be heading for a carry-over, so I'll side with the trusted BP and PA - and maybe a small JP for interest
Enjoy

Eachway Bets today:
Race 3 : Ritchi 6 (maiden winner, but with 51 kgs must be a runner in this moderate lineup) 14/1
Race 4 : Woodland's Forest 10 (form inconsistent - but has a large part of the field held at the weights) 20/1
