The drizzle will return around 2 and get heavier as the afternoon rolls on...

Race 1
Doug Campbell
No 10 Maxima - Has been off for 8 months so may need this run.
No 5 Valliant Knight - He's been brought back to 1200 meters and has
the blinkers fitted. If he can over come his wide draw, he has a money
chance
Dean Kannemeyer
No 14 Lundy's Lad - He's doing well at home and knocking on the door
to shed his maiden tag
Race 2
Karen Anthony
No 2 African Diva - She will be fitted with the cheek pieces and has
been showing some nice work, so I'm hoping to see an improved run
Doug Campbell
No 7 Kildonan Bay - Her two runs to date have been good and if she
gets some luck from a wide draw, she is in with a winning chance
Paul Lafferty
No 6 Hathaway - Has a place chance
No 3 Katie's Treasure - Has a good winning chance
Race 3
Shane Humby
No 3 Seen The Light - Should run well
Dean Kannemeyer
No 7 Pianemo - Has been over racing and if he can settle in running,
he has an outside chance.
Kom Naidoo
No 10 Malay - Will be having his second run after being rested and
gelded and I'm expecting to see improvement
Race 4
Dean Kannemeyer
No 9 Queen Of Beauty - She's an improving filly and should be right
there at the finish
Kom Naidoo
No 7 Double Twice - Will be going over a bit of ground which should
suit her and she could run into a place
Race 5
Brett Crawford/Peter Muscutt
No 7 Gimme A Cohiba - He takes on stronger opposition than he has been
in his last two but in his favor is his light weight. One to include
in larger quartets
Dennis Drier/Stuart Ferrie
No 5 Sea Dance - Had a very good last run. He is working well and
should be a big runner
Dean Kannemeyer
No 3 Kapen Pride - Is doing well and is one to include in Quartets
Paul Lafferty
No 6 Victorious Man - He's weighted to be concerned in the finish
Race 6
Dennis Drier/Stuart Ferrie
No 2 Escape Club - Was a little disappointing last time but she is
trying a longer trip and should be included in larger quartets.
Race 7
Dean Kannemeyer
No 5 Joseph Jagger - He's fit and well and knocking for his first win
No 3 Slew City - Ran an improved race last time and is one to include
in quartets
Kom Naidoo
No 8 Seattle Samba - Could sneak into the back end of Quartets
Race 8
Karen Anthony
No 10 Eastbrook - Has a difficult draw to overcome but with luck in
running should give a good account of himself.
Dean Kannemeyer
No 12 Rumbleinthejungle - He comes in with a nice galloping weight and
has a money chance
Paul Lafferty
No 6 Mokoko - Was beaten by the draw last time and is one that must be included
Kom Naidoo
No 3 Juniper Lane - Has his first run out of the maidens and has a

Warren Lenferna speaking to Alistair Gordan and reckons his horses are running well.
Gordan hasn't had a winner this year from 34 starts and hasn't had a winner in his last 51 starts.
And this one,Sliver Wisp,beaten 100m.

Looking at the result of race 3 I believe we were reamed.
However The Racegoer has Apache Dream as its 2nd best average horse and best time horse.
Funny game this.
