RACE 6

NO.12 MARMARA SEA (WIN)

If he was gelded earlier in his career, would of been competiting against stronger by now

Last race was his first start after been gelded, and he ran on from almost 15+L back to finish 2nd

Over this 10 Furlong... he's way better than this field

5/1

Here are the trainers’ comments ahead of Tuesday’s race meeting at the Vaal racecourse.
December 3, 2019

Race 1

Tony Nassif

No 3 Silver Sea – Will need the run.

Geoff Woodruff

No 9 Captain Chorus – Has had two good grass gallops but may still need the run and is looking for further.

No 11 Ivalo’s Prince – Has shown some ability at home and should be included in perms.

Sean Tarry

No 10 Gold Rock – Should need the run.

No 16 Danzig’s Flame – Should need the run.

Mike/Matthew De Kock

No 15 Peaceontherocks – She’s been disappointing as her work at home is better than she has shown in her races. If she reproduces her best she is capable and should be included.

Steven Lerena

No 5 Silver Stone – Having a comeback run, should need it.

Corne Spies

No 2 Captains Fort – Shows nice early speed, Place chance.

Race 2

Paul Peter

No 8 Anne Boleyn – Eachway chance.

No 16 Sekhmet – Eachway chance.

Lucky Houdalakis

No 10 Izze Kloth – Could need further.

Steven Lerena

No 11 Kaylex – Nice sort, will need the run.

Sean Tarry

No 14 Olivia – Should need the run.

Candice Dawson

No 12 Little Rain – Doing nicely at home.

Mike/Matthew De Kock

No 13 Milford Sound – I expect she will be in need of the run and is also looking for further.

Chris Jonker

No 15 Right Round – Excuses first time, will run a good race.

Tony Nassif

No 9 Cut Loose – Expecting a good run

Race 3

Candice Dawson

No 15 Smoking Hot – Nice filly, may need the experience.

Tobie Spies

No 6 Code Black – Hoping she can run into one of the minor places.

Corne Spies

No 9 Elusive Breeze – Needs to show more improvement.

Race 4

Mike/Matthew De Kock

No 11 Mallorca – May still need this run but could place.

Corne Spies

No 14 Some Adventure – Hoping to see some improvement.

Race 5

Steven Lerena

No 6 Samarra – Has been a bit off form, hoping for improvement.

Paul Peter

No 1 Destinys Game – Has an Eachway chance.

Corne Spies

No 11 Mazari – In with a Place chance.

Race 6

Mike/Matthew De Kock

No 12 Marmara Sea – Has a Place chance.

Paul Peter

No 3 Born Rich – Needs a bit further.

Race 7

Paul Peter

No 1 Che Bella – Has a Place chance.

No 11 Ocean City – Has an Eachway chance.

Corne Spies

No 7 All Of Me – Has an Each-way chance.

No 9 Impressive Duchess – Better than her last two. Good chance.

No 6 True Charm – Should have a good chance again.

Race 8

Clinton Binda

No 10 Florence – Sound but may need the run.

Candice Dawson

No 4 Star Of Gibraltar – Doing nicely at home.

Chris Jonker

No 5 Ficticious – Hoping that she can earn a stake.

Paul Peter

No 13 Phillydelphia – If her run on Saturday hasn’t taken too much out of her, she should go close.

Tobie Spies

No 7 Miss Boomerang – Her recent form is weak, so just hoping to see improvement from her.

Geoff Woodruff

No 9 Captain Chorus – Has had two good grass gallops but may still need the run and is looking for further.

9 Captain Chorus # 10.00 9.00 10.00 8.50 10.00 11.00 12.00 8.50 7.00 6.50 6.00
Woodruff is definitely one trainer who's comments we need to take note of,but seems someone knew more than he did today.
