Race 1

Glen Puller

No 1 Dad’s Catch – Has had a grass gallop and should run well.

Justin Snaith

No 2 Favorita – Has had one grass gallop and should be in the money.

Glen Kotzen

No 3 Mifid Two – Sharp filly, should run well.

No 4 Musical Glitch – Put up a good gallop and could run well.

No 5 Ruby Rhythm – Should be competitive.

Mike Robinson

No 6 Spacial Aura – Nice filly, should run well.

Candice Bass-Robinson

No 7 Winter Peace – May need the experience.

Race 2

Adam Marcus

No 3 Alnwick Castle – Will need run but has ability and is one to follow.

Piet Steyn

No 11 What A Man – Had a grass gallop but will need the run.

Vaughan Marshall

No 9 Speed Of Night – He’s come on from his last run and should be a big runner here.

Race 3

Paddy Kruyer

No 2 Kindred Countess – Showing nice work at home, should run a reasonable race.

No 9 Adorable Alley – Decent first run, shouldn’t be too far off them.

No 1 Over The Way – Narrowly beaten last time, should again be competitive.

Race 4

Harold Crawford/Michelle Rix

No 7 Bold Diva – Should be in the mix.

Vaughan Marshall

No 15 She Will Rule – Her work at home has been good and I’m expecting big improvement from her.

Mike Robinson

No 8 Futuristic Dame – Expecting a good run over this longer distance.

Race 5

Paddy Kruyer

No 8 The Blues – He’s working well and if he stays the 2400 meters trip, he should be in the shake up.

Race 6

Dean Kannemeyer

No 2 Azores – May be a bit on the sharp side but should be included in exotics.

Greg Ennion

No 5 Winter Tango – He won a good maiden race last time out and is an improving sort. Should be in with a fair chance.

Race 7

Candice Bass-Robinson

No 3 Fabian – May need the run.

Glen Kotzen

No 7 Double Alliance – Rested, galloped and should run well.

Dennis Drier

No 8 Cartel Captain – Competitive, first run as a gelding.

Greg Ennion

No 2 Elusive Trader – Ran below par last time out but he is better than that run and I’m expecting a good run from him.

Vaughan Marshall

No 4 Agent Of Fortune – Will have the blinkers fitted and he should run a big race.

No 9 Ground Control – Returns from a break and should need the run.

No 5 Magic Sailor – Looks to be a touch outclassed here.

Mike Robinson

No 10 Call Me Al – Needed his last run after gelding so I’m hoping to see improvement although he does take on a strong field.

Race 8

Geoff/Lucinda Woodruff

No 11 Destruction Boy – Came out of his last race well and should have a Quartet chance.

Vaughan Marshall

No 8 Red Eight – His last run can be disregarded. He should have a big chance of finishing in the money.

No 14 Spy – Small Place chance.

No 9 Winter Assembly – Small Place chance.

Mike Robinson

No 13 Forty Days – He’s course and distance suited and should be included in Quartets.

No 14 Wadi Rum – Has a nice low weight and is capable of earning a cheque.

i like 2 for today..

Race2 - The Crawford runner Speed of Night is finding all the support and finds itself at 8/10 currently. Positive comments from trainer bodes well, however, i am in the camp of Parktown, should be 4/1 shortly... I think its maiden run was in a very decent field and surely would have come on heaps for the run.... I make it the one to beat despite all the money for SoN...

Race 3 - Proclaimer 2/1... i was fortunate to be on the winner of his last start.... It was one of those races where you get the feeling you can start counting the winnings before the race was over.. This one made me skip a beat with its terrific finish under Marcus who rides again today... There is no one in this field who should get within 3l of this one at the finish line imo.... my NAP of the day......

O Sole Mio would have been a selection of mine in R4 as i do make it the one to beat, just the draw puts me off... Still would not leave this one out of any of the exotics....

Race 1, on breeding I would row in with Dad's Catch. Has shortened a touch, if firms further at race time, then would be the right one. Not a confident choice, but the trainer's comments are not the worst.

Double into R2 with Speed Of Night. Unless there is a spook in the field, should take some stopping.

Thereafter race by race selections.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Apologies, yes Greg does ride... I really have no clue why I said Marcus rides again...

RACE 2

NO.10 TWICE AS SLEEK (E/W)

Dam was a sprinter!

Debut rub: Not striding

Could of gelded him, during the lay off...but probably didn't need it as he shows good work back home
