RA ....AGM delayed .

Can anyone please tell me, as patience runs thin, why is it held in Cape Town and video-linked to Jhb the centre of Phumelela Racing, or maybe they looking to relocate offices to Cape Town?? (seen that one before)

...no no Oscar....not the JHB video link concerning Cape meeting tonight.....they(The RA) will eventually hold the postponed RA meeting (AGM)in JHB in February 2020 and video link it to the Cape...the Cape meeting tonight is not the AGM but a meeting concerning Cape racing....

Oops.......:oops:....no you are correct....according to the SP the RA AGM will take place in Cape Town(Kenilworth) on the 10th February 2020.....rather strange indeed......just recon that the contrite CEO prefers to be on more neutral ground after his antics and utterances on Summer Cup day......:whistle:

Ok mate so they holding an AGM in CT whilst their offices, which I am sure are not a cheap offices to run, are in Johannesburg. The first question asked should be "why is the meeting being held in Cape Town" especially since they have already had a private owners and trainers meeting in CT during the year.

Why have they not given their members a reason as to why this is?

Please any friend of the person responsible for the choice of the AGM Venue please ask.

.....and after the Summer cup day debacle far less in the RA.....one must remember that the RA CEO is not only targeted because of his recent and systemic behavior while presiding at the Whitehouse..... but because he is one of the very last Marcus Jooste cohorts......what some still fail to acknowledge is that the CEO function is a paid position and subject to our labour laws......the CEO cannot be voted out as he is and has not been on the RA board since he stepped down as chairman.....I doubt that the RA even has a hard and fast code of conduct which enables a CEO to do as he pleases as if it was his own business.....and that is the dilemma....no one on the RA board has the goons to challenge the outrageous conduct and so he will stay......what is more scary is that the RA is in the forefront of a proposed restructure of racing.....:ohmy:

....another Oops...:oops: .....I see that the RA CEO is also on the RA board as a director......this too must be highly irregular....what powers of persuasion or/ and of how he got there are uncanny.....he can and may be voted off or removed from the board.......but the CEO he will stay.....:blink:

They must be expecting trouble in CT maybe
