I agree with your approach which is to use Driving Miss Daisy and Larentina as the line horses.
Unfortunately, the official handicapper has used Third Runway as the line horse despite the fact that this time she had to run from a very wide draw and hence most probably did not run to her best relative to her previous when having the run of the race from a good draw. Hence the top 6 are all given a further 6 points.
8th placed Casino Queen has been left unchanged, so off her 94 she is a penalty kick if running in a handicap next time.

Hi Peter and Charl, I agree with you guys wholeheartedly - to use Third Runway as the line horse is a travesty - she raced from a very wide draw and never settled, pulling hard throughout the bend. Under the circumstances, finishing third was a great effort but probably not her best!

I really think the soft underfoot conditions helped Mississippi Burning. I have my doubts if this form will hold up

The going was good, with the pen reading at 22 and 23. So the bit of rain that we had just took the sting out the ground, but definitely not soft underfoot. The sprint was run in 57.3 sec which is extremely quick for Kenilworth 1000m, which would not have been possible if soft.
There was, however, a tailwind, and the Fillies Guineas was run quite slowly- the time was 3 sec slower than the Greenpoint Stakes whereas one would expect perhaps 1-2 sec slower for the relative quality of the two fields. There were a few hard luck stories because in a big field the draws definitely made a difference. So, you are correct that the form may not stand up - in a hard run mile with good draws, I think that MB would not beat Third Runway by 3L. Hence I support Charl's analysis which puts just 1lb between these two fillies at this stage and not 6.
