Fairview
Race 1
Alan Greeff
No 3 Forbidden Affair has been a disappointment of late
No 7 Duke Of Cards has his first run for me and his first taste of the Polytrack
Sharon Kotzen
No 9 Blazing Pace has his first run for the yard. His work has been good.
Race 2
Alan Greeff
No 2 Go Goodfellow should run well
No 4 Cove Fort is having her post maiden win run. Maybe back end of Quartets.
Sharon Kotzen
No 8 Tarzan; We are dropping him in distance. He shows pace and we are
hoping for an improved run
No 10 Shooting Star has been battling since his maiden win and needs to improve
Emmanuel Kaknis
Both my runners No 9 for Luck Sake and No 13 Ante Omnia have been
working well and both enjoy the Polytrack we are hoping they can earn
some money.
Grant Paddock
No 12 Burnt Rock is holding his form. I have put Blinkers up and I am
hoping for a good run.
Race 3
Alan Greeff
No 3 Deepston is the preferred runner to No 1 falcon Rock and No 7 Dubula.
Tara Laing
No 6 Di Me is coming off a nice win and he must have a chance
Hekkie Strydom
No 10 Elusive Kat likes this surface and has got a chance from a good draw
Race 4
Jacque Strydom
No Sao Paulo is badly drawn again. She has only had a good draw twice.
She is working well and the drop in distance will suit.
No 9 Travel In Style has a place chance
Alan Greeff
No 4 Ambra is trying the 1300m for the first time.
No 6 Lily Theresa can be thereabouts
No 7 Stream Of Kindness loves the Polytrack and can go close again.
Tara Laing
No 8 Cloud Break disappointed on the turf last time so I am trying her
on the Polytrack.
Sharon Kotzen
No 10 Twin Falls is a bit high in the merit-rating for a 1 time winner
and is drawn badly but is fit and well and could earn some money
Race 5
Duncan Mckenzie
No 1 Bush Park is honest and won nicely this time. this is a tougher
task but she has a chance
No 10 Lady Livia has not been putting it and will need to improve
Alan Greeff
No I Love Mambo is going for her fourth win in a row. Has a chance
Tara Laing
No 5 Travel Guide does not have a great draw but has run well over
1300m on the Polytrack. Place chance
Jacque Strydom
No 6 Flame Of Fire has an each-way chance.
Race 6
Jacque Strydom
No 1 Beneficiary: I cannot explain her last 2 runs as she has been
working well. I am hoping for a better run
Tara Laing
No 3 No More Words is having her first run for me and I am hoping for a good run
Sharon Kotzen
No 4 Shadow Queen is having her second run back from a long break and
may need the run
Duncan Mckenzie
No 5 Ready Set Go does not always show her best but if she can repeat
her penultimate run she can have a chance
Alan Greeff
No 7 Step Lively won well on debut and can be thereabouts
No 9 Elusive Diva should be there at the finish.
Grant Paddock
No 11 Orlanda has a wide draw to overcome but has a place chance
Race 7
Alan Greeff
No 1 Meryl is well suited to this distance
No 2 Delia's Delight: You can put a line through her last run and she
must have a chance.
No 3 Ontenderhooks won well last time out
Jacque Strydom
No 5 Onesie had a spin out last week and was close up behind 2 of
these rivals the time before that.
Race 8
Hekkie Strydom
No 1 Okavango Delta is probably the better of my 2 runners in this
race but No 5 November Storm does have a chance
Sharon Kotzen
No 2 Finley Hill has improved since winning a maiden and has a winning
chance once again.
No 6 The Goon Show ran some improved races of late so can run another nice race.
No 7 Cruise Cruz was not suited to the slow pace last time out and is
a genuine stayer so we are hoping for a better run.
Grant Paddock
No 8 Nijinskys Son has a place chance
Jacque Strydom
Both No 9 Chestnut Wild and No 13 Omaha Beach can be thereabouts.
No 12 Awakening needs to improve.

Race1 - Looks like the whole of PE is on the now Greef trained Duke of Cards..... I find this very interesting... I for one will gladly accept the egg on the face after the race, however, i cannot have this one at all... For me, the best form in the race and the one they all have to beat is Benicarlo... Whilst we know that at times trainers can get it wrong in terms of deciding the best distance for a runner, i highly doubt that Crawford would be sending out a baby 2nd run over 1800 and 2400m for its 3rd run if it was not indeed of some ground... Benicarlo is best this distance, and is not looking for the ground at this stage of its career... Then we go to the formlines, Benicarlo imo has much stronger form lines than DoC.. We can even go one step further and say that DoC has got to try and find a way to make up over 5 lengths on Benicarlo if you use their respective runs to Winter is over, and DoC will need to do this over a trip that is surely far short of its best... Like i say, i will gladly accept the egg later, but i am firmly in the camp of Benicarlo and i am hoping that DoC comtinues to shorten and my fancy continues to grow in price

Time and again, Greef brings up "no form" horses from Cape Town and wins 1st time out. I will never forget last year, 24 December. I had a treble to win 50k on Highland Hero at 1/3. Xmas money was considered banked!
Greef won that race with a horse called Seville at 14/1 - 1st run in PE and absolutely no form from Cape Town. It won by 6 Lengths over a sprint.
So instead of complaining that I have been "Greef'd", i've taken then approach of:
"If you cant beat em, join em'!"

I was not looking at punting race 1. Esp after looking at Duke shorten from 8/1 into around 2/1. Did not take the 8/1 so I certainly won't take 2/1. Purely cos of the shorter price..I hope the guys that got on the higher price that the horse comes smoking a pipe.
I will race you boys home with Mark the Doorman. Drawn well and can feature here.
