Moore should be a draw card for the meeting but Frankie would have been massive.
Gives the race another dimension and higher profile.

According to the US Bloodstock Daily, Eric Sands was not entirely happy with the way RB had been ridden in his past two races and he told Mike Rattray he wanted a change.
Rattray said whatever he decides its his business. He is the trainer and must make the decisions They wanted Frankie Dettori but couldnt get hold of him.
Rattray knew that Jehan Malherbe had a link to Moore and spoke to JM about getting him.
According to Rattray, Gavin was more understanding than he expected.
Gavin said the decision was a bitter pill to swallow.
" RB goes very for me, doesnt over race, runs as straight as an arrow whereas he hangs with some of the other jockeys who have ridden him.

......they need to sort out that nose band issue as no matter who rides RB .....the horse is trying to climb what he perceives is an obstacle with the band placed so high up on the nose......if Sands wants to try get the horse to settle and shorten its stride he should rather leave it off....

A fitter stripping Kasimir will go very close.The come-back run was impressive considering the horse last ran in the KZN season and finished about 2 lengths off.
