A bit of a tailwind today and course should be running very fast.
Race 1. Hello Tomorrow good improvement last time and although bred for much further should win this. Senor Don next best. I did what I did fair debut and should be in the money. Professional maiden Empire Glory to round off the quartet.
Race 2 A quick double for Fourie with Long Reign despite the big drop in trip. The Cambo the main danger. Sudden Star good improvement last time should be in the money.
Race 3. A weak maiden with not much between 1,2,3. A slight preference for Reef Knot.
Race 4. A tricky race with the two smart 3 yo’s up against some tough older horses. Sacred Arrow won a good race in PE and he is my first choice to beat Priceless Ruler. King of Gems and Golden Ducat can’t be ignored. Search Party is best in at the weights if fit and well.
Race 5. Labyrinth won very well last time and looks progressive- she is clearly the one to beat. Either banker her or go very wide. Secret Depths was a bit disappointing last time,- she is working well and with a good draw and a strong jockey has a fair ew chance.
Race 6. Binoche looks well above average and may still be ahead of the handicapper. She is first choice. Queensbarns reverts to sprinting and had excuses last time. Off a low galloping weight I make her the main danger, together with Queen of Quiet.
Race 7. This race is more open than the betting suggests, and my value bet is Lady of the Lake at 16/1. Templeton and Phil’s Dancer must be included.
Race 8. An open handicap. My first choice is a Nasty Harry, to beat Yorktown and Photocopy. Fabian is inconsistent but capable at best. Hudoo Magic returns from a long break and gelding- he could run well fresh although better further.
