"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening Session' Wednesday 13 August Workings.
16 years 9 months ago
Evening.
This evening completed, and went as follows:
The 1st runner we wanted 3.3, and with drifting to around 3.6 on arrival and not coming back down to us, race to racers had to avoid then race. The runner was beaten and so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr. Early traders happy though.....
The 2nd runner we wanted 2.0, and with being around 1.97 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at 1.97 max. The price then drifted out to our own price and slightly beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result......
The 3rd runner we wanted 3.1, and with being around 3.0 and shortening on arrival, we had a lay at 3.0 max. There was then a withdrawal near the off with a reduction of 15.4%, but we easily make our lay back up. The lay was beaten and so a good result.....
The 4th runner we wanted 2.32, and with being around 2.38 on arrival and then dropping down to us, we had a lay at 2.32 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result......
The 5th runner we wanted 2.4, and with being around 2.66 on arrival, all strategy play completed and just a little trading left on offer, I'm leaving it there and having a chill out. So good luck if you stay on to trade the remainder..
WELL PLAYED........
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) won 1 target......They started their 1st strategy/target on the 2nd runner, and then hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 3rd runner)........That left them with an insufficient amount left to start another, so they end winning 1 target.
'Bank building' strategy/target players started with a 'free' lay (the 2nd runner) that bought a tiny profit..........They then had their 1st lay (the 3rd runner) at 3.0, and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets.........They then had their 2nd lay (the 4th runner) at 2.32 max, and a good result see them hit their targets.......

Afternoon.
This evening's workings then, as follows:
5.35 Sandown. VICTORIA SPONGE (3.2)
Our price 13/5 (3.6) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.3 or under. *Please note that a little more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*
6.20 Hamilton. HIGH ALERT (2.06)
Our price 13/10 (2.3) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.0, or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a little more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*
6.35 Sandown. TOO TALL (2.92)
Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.1 or under. *Please note that a little more emphasis has had to go on the early market for clues, concerning this race*
6.55 Hamilton. INSIDE STORY (2.42)
Our price 13/8 (2.625) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.32, or under, we'll go in for a lay.
7.25 Hamilton. NUTKIN (2.66)
Our price 17/10 (2.7) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.4, or under, we'll go in for a lay.
8.25 Hamilton. ASTRODOME (2.02)
Our price 6/5 (2.2) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.9, or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders please be aware that he has a tendency to lead, or race very prominently in his races*
All the races were priced up, with non runners taken into account, up until 16.17pm.
That's our work for this evening then. Again it's looking tricky and testing, but yet again we do have enough within our armoury to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon.
