• TARA LAING - Numbers 1 and 2 - ALL SORTS & BOLD MISTRESS : All Sorts is a speedy filly and she has a chance. Bold Mistress is a nice filly and though she would be better over 12, 1400m is not without chance.
• GAVIN SMITH - Number 10 - SLOANE : She ran a decent first race and will be right there.
SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 3 and 8 - CYBER SECURITY & MISS TORNADO : Cyber Security ran a nice race on debut, she does want further but can improve. Miss Tornado will need the experience having her first run.
MONTANA TURNER - Numbers 4 and 11 - GRANADILLA & SWEET SPRING : Granadilla has her first start, she is a big filly who shows fair work at home but may be green, maybe a minor place chance. Sweet Spring was very green on debut, she tries a tongue tie and her work has improved, so I am hoping she improves.
ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 5 and 9 - HERRIN & RED BERRY : Herrin ran well on debut and is in with a shout. Red Berry shows pace at work and if not too green can run well.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 7 - MISS TIMPS : She is expected to be green and this will be an educational run.

• GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 1, 4 and 5 - HOOVES OF TROY, BOLD STRIKE & SAROO : Hooves of Troy will enjoy being up to 1400m. Bold Strike races off a long lay off and should need it.
• ALAN GREEFF - Number 2 - VERBARIUM : He tries the 1400m, bumps a few fair sorts, place chance.
RACE 3 :

• MONTANA TURNER - Number 1 - LITTLE DRUMMER BOY : The distance is perhaps the only concern, it is a touch sharp, but he is very well in himself, is putting up good work and is holding form, so meeting the right field he is in with and each way chance.
• TARA LAING - Number 7 - REAL RASCAL : Having now run three seconds in his three starts he must have big chance.
DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 10 - WHISPERING JACK : He ran a fair last, the 1000m that day was definitely quick for him. He could manage the back end of quartets again in an open field.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 2 and 3 - WHAT A PRINCE & CROISADE DE VERITE : What a Prince has a place chance. Croisade de Verite is working well and can run into the back end of quartets.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 6 and 9 - JUZCAR & WEST HEAD : Hoping for improvement from Juzcar. West Head has his first start, he hasn’t been pushed into the run and this will bring him on.

• TARA LAING - Number 2 - PARA HANDY : He has won three times from three outing over course and distance, he must have a good chance.
• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 3 and 7 - LLOYD GEORGE & GO GOODFELLOW : Lloyd George has been running well and can be thereabouts again. Go Goodfellow placed on Monday, he takes on stronger, place chance.
GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 5, 9 and 10 - POMACEOUS, BORN A BULLY & ROYAL FORT : Pomaceous ran a good last in strong company and should be thereabouts. Born a Bully tries the turf 1200m. Improvement is expected from Royal Fort.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 8 - MAGIC MARY : She has her first start for the yard and although it is sharp for her and she races off a break, her work is solid and she could pop up for quartets.
RACE 5 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1, 3 and 6 - CARLITA, OUTLANDOS D’AMOUR & CAPTAIN’S CHOICE : Carlita could just need this, but she usually does run well fresh and is generally consistent. Outlando d’ Amour won her last well but she does have more to do here at the weights. Captain’s Choice is working well but she takes on a strong field.
• DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 5 - HORSE HAIZI : She is better than her last, this is a tough field but she can be there.
RACE 6 :

• GAVIN SMITH - Number 5 - EVOLVER : He enjoys track and trip.
• CANDICE BASS-ROBINSON (comments made prior to travel) - Number 7 - CELESTIAL PRINCE : He will enjoy the long run in and at the weights has a decent chance.
SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 6 and 9 - JUST MY STYLE & FINLEY HILL : Just my Style is distance suited, she is drawn widest of all in the small field but has been a lovely consistent filly and another decent run is expected. This isn’t the ideal race for Finley Hill who is both up in class and out at the weights, but he is also definitely distance suited and in good form, so not out of it.
TARA LAING - Number 8 - THE SILVA FOX : He is up in class and does run under sufferance, but this is the trip he enjoys and he could place.
ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1 and 2 - DELIA’S DELIGHT & ONTENDERHOOKS : Both mares take on male opposition off top weights which will make it a tough task. They also try the trip for the first time. They are decent sorts though and are holding form.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Numbers 3 and 4 - FRIKKIE & ONESIE : Both horses are proper stayers. Frikkie didn’t have things go his way in his last, will do better and can feature. Onesie always tries and can place.
RACE 7 :

• ALAN GREEFF - Numbers 1 and 3 - MADAME SPEAKER & AMERICAN LANDING : Madame Speaker does find the mile on turf her max. She takes on the boys again but is well and is definitely not out of it. American Landing won his last over course and distance well, he has a chance here as well.
• JUAN NEL - Number 2 - EARTH HOUR : He his first run for the yard. He if fit and happy, is working well and a good run is expected.
TARA LAING - Number 4 - BOLD VIKING : He was a little unlucky in his last and definitely lines up with a chance.
SHARON KOTZEN - Number 7 - SHOGUN : You can draw a line through his last, he is drawn well and though in a very competitive field, much better is expected.
GAVIN SMITH - Number 8 - THE HIGHWAY MAN : He won a good race in his last, the milehere is his max, quartet chance.

• SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 2 and 8 - ELUSIVE GREEN & STORM DANCE : Elusive Green has lots in her favour and in an open line up must have a decent chance. Storm Dance will enjoy being back a furlong and although drawn a bit deep, if she puts it in she can also run well.
• CANDICE BASS-ROBINSON (comments made prior to travel) - Number 5 - NAN : She hasn’t enjoyed the firm going of recent back home and is better than her recent form. She has a decent chance.
JACQUES STRYDOM - Number 6 - STYLISH ICON : She has been looking for the 1400m and in an open field can get involved.
ALAN GREEFF - Number 7 - FLYING COLOURS : Hoping for improvement.
GAVIN SMITH - Number 9 - ARABIAN QUEST : Improvement is expected.
DUNCAN MCKENZIE - Number 1 - QUEEN MAKEDA : She tries a small pair of scoops and I’m hoping she can place.
MONTANA TURNER - Number 4 - ANNAMARIE : She has her first start for the yard. She has ability but is really lacking in confidence and more than anything I am just hoping she has a good experience and can come on from it.
