Race 1

Yadav Singh

No 5 Kinskey’s Tune is working well and can run into the Quartet.
Lezeanne Forbes
10 Sofia Erin is a very smart filly and I think she will be hard to beat.
Yogas Govender
No 11 Nirvana Girl is a nice filly but might find this 1000m a bit sharp. She could place.

Race 2
Corne Spies
No 4 Sapphire Rock: I am hoping she can place.
Tony Rivalland
No 8 Hansa Grove is fitter and should go well.
Paul Lafferty
No 11 Frilly Sox is doing well and I am expecting a big run from her.

Race 3
Alyson Wright
No 1 Purple Powahouse is well and must have a chance.
Corne Spies
Both my runners No 9 Captain’s Fort and No 16 Minister Without can finish in the money.
Tony Rivalland
No 11 Elegantly Sexy is not showing much.
Paul Lafferty
No 14 Gilden Age needs to show improvement.

Race 4
Wayne Badenhorst
Both my runners No 2 Lady Sharon and No 14 Class Of Eight could run well.

Lezeanne Forbes
No 9 La Bastide is very well and she could go close under this 4kg claimer.
Paul Lafferty
No 17 Bint El Malak is a reserve runner at the moment but if she gets in she has a chance.

Race 5
Alyson Wright
No 4 Green Ice ran just the other day but we are expecting her to run and she could get into the Quartet.
Darryl Moore
No 11 Into The Groove is trying so lets see how she does.

Race 6
Yogas Govender
No 4 We Light The Fire is probably my best runner on this card. He ran a nice race last time and can go close.
Corne Spies
No 10 Windy Flight: We are hoping for a good run from him.

Race 7
Lezeanne Forbes
No 2 Let’s Blaze is well drawn and I am expecting him to be in the money.
Alyson Wright
No 4 The Appeal may just need the run but has a place chance.
Tony Rivalland
No 5 Learning To Fly is very fit and has a good winning chance.
Wayne Badenhorst
No 7 Cardboard Cowboy is trying further and I think it will suit him.
Corne Spies
No 11 Kruispad: I am hoping for a better run.
Paul Lafferty
No 14 Black Fox is not well drawn but could be the one to beat.

Race 8
Alyson Wright
No 2 Astute Palace is trying further and has a place chance at best.
Tony Rivalland
No 3 Red Vision steps up in trip. I am hoping he can get into the back end of Quartets.
Paul Lafferty
No 7 On The Bayou has a place chance.
Corne Spies
I will be happy if No 11 Zombie or No 16 Red Wolf improve and earn some money.

Thank goodness for load shedding.
Would have been out 1st leg of the PA for sure.
R20 after one leg.
SA racing is becoming a pure lottery lately.Form means nothing as seen by the carryover on Sunday and the 4 million payout on Met day when our best horses are on show.
And it seems plenty are not that interested either, just have a look how many people are actually participating on ABC lately, lucky if we get a second page on any given race meeting.
