When the Speaker of Parliament , Thandi Modise, can abuse animals on her farm and not face any consequences / repercussions then the tone has been set in terms of how much value is placed on the life on defenceless animals that are abused / neglected and / or killed...

Horrific. I cannot imagine the horror of being present to witness that. Let's not forget though that people do this to other people as well. Its a sick world.

The danger is, if this is dealt with swiftly and decisively, a dangerous precedent will be set.

Look at whats happening in the USA.

....absolutely shocking...and all those who chimed in 7 months ago about the security measures being a bit heavy handed....this is why....there after 50 years still are savages working with our horses....I urge that if any other trainers had any of their staff participate in this savagery..... they should intermediately begin retrenchment campaigns and reduce the amount of grooms weeding out those who are not to be trusted with horses....stand together hire out your better staff to assist other trainers..... fewer grooms with better money to keep racing safe.....:huh:

The world isnt sick the people are

Really need to protect the industry and the people who are trying their hardest to keep it alive.

If this continues our racing will become that of Borrowdale and Ngong in the next 30-years, guaranteed.

Really hope key members address the security and safety of stables at all centres.
